I think it all depends on the parents and their perception of life. Sometimes in trying to protect us from 'evil' they just make 'evil' seem more attractive to us! My parents gave my sisters and I relative freedom probably because they spend most of their time at work and because they have their own style of raising us...you know a kinda, 'let a dog roam and he will find its way home' thing...
luckily for us we did all the things that kids do and we out grew those things at an early stage and fortunately no permanent damage was accrued. Now we are older and wiser and relatively more responsible than our age mates! For me the resultant effect of this kind of parental style is that I find most of my peers boring...afteral they are doing those things that I did a long time ago!
However I think we were just lucky we turned out so well...it could have been the other way round..you know?

Naija movies sucks! Yes we started well but deviated along the line......there is a dearth of talented actors and wanna be directors!
However the situation is not hopeless as all that is needed for nollywood to wake up is an injection of talented actors and actresses who really have the passion for acting and not for the money....For now it sucks like hell!

Apart frm MODE9 all the other wannabes are clowns parading as rappers!Mode9 is the shizzle and rugged man cannot hold a candle to Mode9's cigar!I never stop wondering why a so called naija rapper will be rhyming about sleek cars,designer labels and shit...when we all know that life in naija is far from peaches and cream....

Yes!
