Very stupid....just modern form bullying. People who do these things just look for an escape from their miseries by looking for something negative to say about others...stupidness.

Shame on them. And then we want to blame all the problems on the politicians. So those that are saying that women are the cause of corruption in Nigeria, I wonder what excuse you will have to give about this one. I say that everyone is corrupt  in Nigeria. From the potbellied over fed loser of a politician to the poorest of the poor. And when we are really ready for some change, we will start acting differently. The movement towards that Nigeria we all want is a grassroots project. It needs to start from the ground up, you and I.

THE WORST THING IN LIFE IS TO TOAST A PROSTITUTE,SO LET IT BE LEGALIZE TO ENABLE US TO KNOW WHO ARE THOSE PROSTITUTES,WHEN A GUY SPEAK ALL THE GRAMMAR FOR A WOMAN AND AT THE END,SHE IS A PROSTITUTE,,,GUY HOW WILL YOU FEEL?IT IS BETTER THAT THEY HAVE ID CARDS ,SO WE CAN KNOW THEM,,,AIDS IS REAL

even if it is legalized, do u really think that a woman that wants to play you will be carrying the ID around? She will do as she pleases, prostitute, and still turn around to play the good girl....justsaying..

Bla bla bla...who cares? Its like decorating trash. At the end of the day, trash will still smell. Whether it becomes the biggest economy on the planet, at the end of the day, it ain't looking good on the inside...

I am totally against it being legalized. Was it not the other day some people were agreeing, with a post someone made on here about one if the female delegates at the recent Nigerian Confab saying that women are the cause of corruption in Nigeria (which I vehemently disagree with, very stupid talk)? Well, prostitution would give another backing for the world to blame women for the problems of the world. Women have a role to play in society and selling their bodies is not something that will bring about any good in an already doomed world. We are living in a time where women are trying to bring themselves up to a certain level of respect in society where everyone will recognize their importance so prostitution will not help this cause. It won't encourage women to aim higher because degrading things like selling their bodies will only depreciate them. So a big NO to that legalizing prostitution of a thing. I'm even surprised a fellow woman would agree to that.

54  Forum / Naijapals Base (Metro life) / Re: Alas...!!! Female delegate blames women for corruption in Nigeria.... (Page 2) on: 6-04-2014 03:57 AM
There is nothing like a woman pushing her husband to steal or whatever. I'm not saying that some women don't do that; however, there is a difference between a woman encouraging a man, giving him that little push and encouragement he needs to aim higher (after all, we only aim higher in life. we strive to do better not remain the same) and a woman who is just plain greedy and materialistic. Men have their brains so they should use it. I find it hard to believe especially in an African country that a woman will just be telling the husband what to do and he will be nodding like an agama lizard without weighing his options. Also, children are not just the woman's responsibility. Father and mother each have different roles to play in the upbringing of their children and one parent isnt there or isnt doing his or her part, that can be blamed for the child's derailment. Finally, society undeniably plays a huge role in molding a child's mind. No matter how much parents try to protect children from the outside world, corruption is everywhere, especially in Nigeria. It is only by the grace of God that a child will not be heavily influenced by the negative things around him/her. She sounds so one-sided and ridiculous. I'm appalled seriously (shudders).

What the heck is she saying? I thought God gave us all free will. Is that not the reason why everybody is responsible for their actions? Or are women now in charge of mens free will? Madam you are talking rubbish. Corrupt men and women are to be blamed for the bad situation in Nigeria. A mother can only teach good morals to her children but its her children that decide for themselves whether they will live by her teachings or not. Onye mgbu! Cool

Well said.

Rubbish. How can women be the cause of corruption.. This is such an ignorant statement; I cannot even believe that this kind of thing can come out of the mouth of a learned woman. What she should have said was that everyone has a role to play in the corruption mess that Nigeria is in today. Even the mothers that do their best, some even single mothers who do their best to raise their children to the best of their ability, the children sometimes end up being corrupted by the same society that they are living in. Nigeria is a country where almost every single person is corrupt. From the pot bellied politician to sometimes the child hawkers on the streets. What a rubbish statement. Shame on her!
