| | We do control who we love...though, I know the world says otherwise. Love is an action and a committment. We are suppose to control our thoughts and our emotions to a degree. Meaning, if a thought comes to mind about someone and it's not right, rebuke the thought and don't let it take root in your mind. Likewise, if one meets someone they think they might be interested in and finds that the person is taken by another...back off! Reject and rebuke the emotions and the thoughts about the person because they are off limits; and don't let the thoughts or emotions take root in your mind or heart. If something is from God, it will not go away. If something is from satan, ignore it, it will go..it will pass because it wasn't real in the first place. If it's meant to be, it will be without munipulation. God's way is decent and in order.
The answer is yes, Christians are suppose to marry Christians because they are going in the same direction/on the same path. If a Christian marries a non-Christian, God is the Christian's God but satan is the non-Christian's god. One will have to give in....or the union might be destroyed. Satan can use the non-Christian anytime and does just that. Things may start off good but know the devil will use the closest one to you, who belongs to him (non-Christian), to destroy you (Christian). Some people survive it, and the one now becomes a Christian. But many don't survive it, some Christians (baby, growing and/or mature) began to doubt God for their own bad decision, then falls right into the devil's trap and some eventually reject God.
God tells Christians not to be unequally yoked or marry a non-Christian because it is for our own good. God does not want us to hurt ourselves or bring suffering and sorrows upon ourselves. | | | | |

| Dear Poster, It's true, we should have knowledge so we don't perish but even with knowledge, we humans will not ever know everything. Because there are things our minds can't comprehend now in the state that we are in. There are also things that are in God's own power and not for us to know in the first place. Look at humans being and how complex we are, then look at the world and all that is in it and where it's placed perfectly for us to exist here on earth.
One suggested that you talk to God and ask Him to reveal himself to you...it's the best solution.
There is a man who worked for one of the top USA newspapers, he did not believe in God. So, he did an in-depth investigation which involved the Bible and it's authenticity, Christianity and Jesus Christ. It's called, The Case for Christ, by Lee Strobel. Maybe you have heard of it already? If not, the entire movie can be found on www.youtube.com

He was a professing atheist and did an in-depth investigation which covers the Bible's authenticity, Christianity and Jesus Christ. Some of the issues on your mind and heart that you have shared here are discussed in the DVD.

Many Christians do not discriminate. As in other areas of life, humans err, get off track, take things into their own hands, etc., even do the opposite of what they are suppose to do; it can be so in a Christian's life, especially a baby Christian's (brand new Christian) life. Once a person gives their life to Christ, it is the Holy Spirit that begans to purge from the person's life what is not suppose to be there. As Christians...brothers and sisters in Christ we are suppose to love one another. Though, if you say you love someone, how can you watch them hurt when you have what can heal them, right?
Bottom line, we should ALWAYS talk to God and He will advise how we are to help one another. And, it will really be help. | | | | |

Oh I forgot, in the USA plenty oyinbo make sure all their photos are correct, while trying to expose all regarding African-Americans. There is zero proof of the big band theory, as a theory is not fact. Unfortunately, many have been tricked into believing man's opinion of how the universe was created when it comes to the big bang theory. But scientist themself say that something can not come from nothing; but something can come from something only. Anyways, God is not a man with a beard in the sky.

Those who study God's word "the Bible" is definitely aware of what is going on with the Bibles versions. Yes, there is a difference between the Bibles of early years and the Bible versions of today...verses that were present before are no longer, some even do change the whole meaning of the verse. Today much is done in the name of copyright and money making, the main source being the evil one so that many are lost. SO PLEASE DO BEWARE! Today, one really has to obey God's word and study, it is a matter of live or death. Those who are copyrighting the Bibles instead of publishing them, I have been told have to change something every year to keep the copyrights. So, even if certain Bible versions were published accurately, over the years to come greedy men all in the name of money will try their best to change them and make money. It is also a way of preparing the minds of those who do not belong to Christ to receive and accept the anti-Christ. In many of the Bible versisons today, those who don't know Jesus will not have the truth, no power or authority and no protection in Jesus name because they are doing their best to remove all.
Saying the above does not in anyway take away from God and what God has said or done in his true and living words giving to us in the Bible. God tells us to keep his word in our heat. Read, study and pray...God speaks to the heart of his people and leads them in the right direction, no matter what is going on in the world.
Additionally, God warns us of this in the book of Revelation which says that those who add or take away from the Bible, the plagues in the Bible will added to that person...
So, the answer is that the Bible, God's true and living word is not corrupt. Although, there are those who are altering some versions of the newer Bibles in order to prepare the minds of many to receive and accept the coming of the anti-Christ-the false one who will claim to be God. BE VERY CAREFUL. I would advise getting an older Bible, start studying and tuck God's word away in your heart, if you are not doing it already. There will come a day when all Bibles will be hard to come by...please don't wait to late. | | | | |

I actually answered your question at the very beginning but will share again. The Bible is the inspired word of God. It was written by over appx. 40 different authors, overtime...all with the same message/theme. In addition, they all share the true nature of God. Which is so amazing! If you want actual names, here are some: Moses, Joshua, Samuel, Ezra, Nehemiah, King David, Malachi, Matthew, John Mark, Luke, John, Paul, James, and Peter just to name a few.
I have one question, if you would please answer:
If you were a scientist and you were going through a book of experiments. One experiment after the other you executed according to how the book instructed with positive results. Now, you come to a few experiments that you tried but a few important steps were unclear to you and the results were unsuccessful. You decided to skip these for now and went on to complete the other experiments with success. Another scientist now asks your opinion, whether the book is accurate or not.
So, I am now asking you poster...would a few things not understand make the book accurate or inaccurate? -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
What about the Bible? Who actually wrote it?
-The Bible is the inspired word of God. Written by many different authors of God's choice. The Bible told us the world was round, when scientist was saying it was flat and so much more.
What was the original language of the Bible? (Hebrew? Aramaic? Koine Greek?)
-The old testament was in Hebrew because was the language spoken at that time. The new testament was written in Greek because it was the language at that time.not fall out of the sky complete. God chose to work through humans. So, as different incidents happened, they were recorded and preserved. The Bible are many eyewitness accounts of the life and works of Jesus Christ, there are prophesies God gave to man about Jesus Christ before he walked the earth, during his time on earth and after, there are historitcal facts, scientific facts, moral facts, what we need to know to receive eternal life with God and so much more given to us in the Bible. It was compiled by thousands manuscript copies. The number of manuscript copies outweight the numbers of any other book we humans have, yet other books are considered as fact with less than 100 manuscript copies. There is more on this point...so much more.
Why does the Catholic Bible has seven (7) more books than the Protestant Bible?
-Sorry, many in the catholic religion say they are followers of Christ and some are but many follow Mary. Mary had to ask for forgiveness also. The Catholics Bible has been changed to fit their beliefs. As well, one of the 10 the commandment which says do not worship graven images has been removed and one of the other commandments have been split, to make it 10 again. Christianity is not a religion.
Why do these two Bibles have different versions of the same books?
-Not sure what you mean? Do you mean two different accounts of the same story? If so, as in any account, everyone will be at a different point and see the same incident at a different point/angel it occured. Like an auto accident, eye witnesses on the scene will see different things. From all the accounts taken, the truth speaks volumes and is easily arrived at. If one says the car was dark and another says the car was black, they have said the same thing. It is the same in the Bible, some towns have more than one name, some people are known by first and last name or father's name, etc. but it's saying the same thing. There are no contradictions. Usually background, historical and cultural study must be done to understand the whole account correctly.
Why are there so many mistakes and errors are from the very first verse right up to the very last verse?
-Grammarical errors are not mistakes in content. Which do you specifically refer to?
Why do 'Born Again Christians' teach concepts that are not from the Bible?
-Please specify, which concept?
There is no word "Trinity" in the Bible in any version of any language
-The actual word trinity is not in the Bible, but please can you translate the Hebrew word Elohim, which is in the Bible?
The oldest forms of Christianity do not support the 'born again' beliefs
-Please give an example? In Genesis, God created man mind/body/spirit. When sin entered in, man spiritually died, leaving mind/body. To become spiritually alive, one much accept life, which is in Jesus. Thus, accepting Jesus as who he is, gives life and one becomes perfect again, as in complete with mind/body/spirit...born again.
Jesus of the English Bible complains about the 'crucifixion'

It is only Jesus Chirst that divides time i.e. Before Christ and After Christ. Many things started with Jesus, such as grace; and many things were fulfilled in Jesus Christ.
If one is a scientist going through a book of experiments and all the experiments performed worked, except a few that were not understood, would one say the book is accurate or inaccurate?
I will share a personal testimony here:
I had just put in for a manager position with one company in the USA, and was chosen. I had a hand full of people under me and I was in charge of an inventory worth thousands of US dollars. The person before me shared how things were done there, which helped. What I learned was that it was going to be different for me because I was not white. The overall company director began constantly visiting my department. He gave me surprise inventory counts, once and sometimes twice a week, when the one before me rarely had them. All items onhand and money had to match. I also had to do a quarterly budget and it couldn't be short or over except by 1%; anything else was unacceptable. It continued like this but God already told me that they were up to something...what reason though I couldn't understand because I hadn't done anything to anyone. All the ones that began trying to give me a hard time were white but I just continued to do my job. There was a girl who claimed to be an atheist, who heard them talking and she secretly came to warn me that they are after me. I told her that God told me already. She was so very shocked when I told her God already told me. I thanked her for letting me know also. The stragegies continued, one after another. Trying to get the ones under me to turn against me, trying to put pressure on my supervisor so that my supervisor would inturn take it out on me. It was really crazy! One morning, God spoke to my heart and told me to do a full inventory report. It was not the day I usually did one but I listened. Everything in the computer matched what was on hand which meant all money and property were accounted for. I kept the inventory, as it gives the date/time the inventory was taken. Then I went to help out in another area of the building. When I returned to my office, it was a few hours later. The company director and my supervisor were both looking at me in a weird way. He had an inventory in his hand, he didn't say anything then but later asked if he could see me in his office. When I went to his office, it was only him and my supervisor there. They presented the inventory they just ran and asked me why was the inventory off appx. $5000 thousand dollars? Having this amount of money/property missing is more than enough to send someone to jail for many years. I don't steal and what is not mines I don't want because I don't want to pay it back many times over in unsuspecting ways. I was in shock because I had took an inventory only a few hours ago and everything was right on. I looked at both of them and said, I need to show you something but it is in my office. They both followed me to my office and I asked if they would bring the inventory report they just took. I pulled my inventory from my file, showing the date/time of the report being only a few hours earlier and most importantly showing that everything was 100% accounted for. I now asked them how can both reports be correct...I took my inventory report a few hours ago and have not left the building at all? While they both looked at my report, their faces turned super red. God had exposed them big. They now gave excuse that there must something wrong with their computer and tech support would be notified to have a look at it. These people tried to set me up for no other reasons that I am black and I do my job. If it was not for God prompting me to do what I did not even know would clear my name, they would have succeeded in sending me to jail/prison for something I did not even do. God is real and God really does take care of us his people. He knows my heart and knows that I am a Christian. If Christianity was fake as you profess here, definitely he would tell his people this. If God can speak to my heart and save me from the schemes of wicked white people, he can surely speak to my heart, tell me and show me Christianity is fake. We have been warned by God of those against Jesus Christ and those who pretent to be one of us when they are not But the truth of who we are does not change because of the false. Highest praises to Jehovah God...the only one who is, was and is to come.
It is my prayer that you find whatever it is you seek and that it leads to life in Jesus Christ, amen.

| | Men and women Christians we are all called to share the word of God, and in that way, we are all ministers of the word of God. As well we have different spiritual gifts such as preaching, teaching, prophecy, healing, prophecy, etc. Those that are called to preach and be a spiritual leader to a church, they know whether or not God truly called them. There are many examples of godly women active in God's ministry in the Bible but I have not so far come across an example in the Bible of a woman being the pastor over a church. I have heard someone share of the husband and wife in the Bible that held worship at their home (which many gatherings of the church were mainly in homes back then) but I myself am still researching???
If anyone has found an example of a woman pastor in the Bible, please, will you share it with us?

First, please let me restate again and clarify that African ancestors died at the hand of PROFESSING Christians. Adolf Hitler also professed to be a Christian and many others. People can say they are many things but that is not what makes it so. So, is your major issue with Christianity the Bible? Christianity is not fake and the Bible, Science, Life, History and Prophecy proves it is real.
The word of God is the start...it is God's words not our own that grow in the heart of a person and transforms their life. So, as we share our own testimony, it also necessary to share God's word. If one is a petroleum engineer, there are manuals which give needed regulations, procedures, checks, guidelines and warnings so that one may work safely and live. The Bible is that to Christians.
A true Christian's life clearly addresses it's validity:
As God's people, God speaks to the heart of all those who have a relationship with him. So say there is someone at the market who is hurting or in need; God will speak to one of his people and prepare his person to meet the one that is hurting or in need. The one in need will maybe need food, God prepares his person to go and buy a variety of food stuff at the market; they may not know why at this point, only that God is instructing them to do it and they should do it. God's person buys the food, and just as they pass someone, God will speak to their heart and say, give it to that person. The person in need is amazed because they didn't think God was listening to them or heard them but God knows our heart and God answers prayers.
There is someone who has car trouble on the road. They pray to God, as they are heading to an important appointment regarding employment. God has one of his people near by and speaks to a mans heart to go a way to work that he never ever goes. Along the way, he sees the one who is having car trouble and God instructs his person to assist the one with car trouble. When directions are asked, it is learned that they are both going to the same place. The one with car trouble has just met the person who has the final say in hiring him. The one with the car trouble was hired into the company. It was God who had them cross paths that day.
There was a girl who lived in the US and worked a late shift. She went to her car after work but it would not start. She lived not to far away from her workplace but the neighborhood wasn't to safe but she decided to walk home alone and deal with her car in the morning. As she was walking, she saw two huge scarry-looking guys walking towards her...she immediatedly began to pray, God please protect me in Jesus name. The two huge guys walked right pass her and she makes it home safely. Some days later, she's reading the newspaper and sees the photo of those two guys who passed her that night and that they had murdered a woman; and cut her into pieces. Shocked, she called the newspaper to give what she knew and was directed to the police detectives handling the case. She told the detectives that she passed these guys and gave the day and time,etc.; and that they walked right pass her. From that time-line, it could be seen that the very next woman these two saw was the woman they cut into pieces. The detectives now had it asked of the two, why did they let the woman before the one they murdered pass and they both said that she had two big guys with her and that if she hadn't had them with her, she was the one they would have grabbed that night. The detectives now told the woman that the murderers both stated that she had two big men with her, one on each side. The woman told them that she was alone...then she stopped and began to cry because she remembered that she prayed for God to protect her and God did, by placing two angels with her. She thanked God for her life because that night she could have lost it.
These are real events that happen in people's lives now. The Christian life is very real and God continues to take care of his people in amazing ways. But whoever is not with God is unprotected, and is still under the law and judgment. Those with God through Jesus Christ is under the umbrella of grace. | | | | |

If the person really needed help (girl not used as ploy or decoy to catch/harm the man) and if he is a true Christian, it is not possible for him to pass by without consequences. The Spirit of God will definitely speak loudly to his heart, the second he gives command to his driver to keep driving by. And to carry on with his life, it will not be just like that because the man will be under conviction. He WILL know, without doubt that he should have stopped to help but chose not to; and it should grieve him. He should then try to make amends to the family because God sent the man to help but he refused to help the girl; though nothing will take away the fact that the family lost their child.
When we, as Christians, let self, the world, things, schedules, etc. get in the way of obeying God it has an affect somewhere always.
God says when we see someone who needs help and do help them; we are doing the same unto him. If we see someone who needs help and do not help them; we are also doing the same unto him. | | | | |
