Forum / The Buzz Central / Re: Check Out Pastor Matthew Ashimolowo’s Son’s Traditional & White Wedding Photos |

| My Naija people, please i would like to ask a simple question; when 're we going to free ourselves from sefl-inflicted slavery? It always makes me mad whenever i read or hear something like "Traditional marriage", "White marriage", "Christian wedding", "Muslim wedding", "Church wedding"!!! Haba a wedding is enough whichever one you pick or choose! And from the little knowledge i gather, a true marriage is when both parents (father/mother or fatherly/motherly figure) accepts each other's proposal, the paying and acceptance of the bride's dowry and the giving of the woman to the man for a wife. Any other thing one does outside of that is just a mere icing on the cake or let me call it 'a show of affluence' SHIKENA!!! So from the above reasonings i guess traditional marriage (or let me use the common palance "engagement") is the real marriage and every other ones 're mere burden imposed on us by our very own slavery mentality. White wedding my foot! Abi i look like white? Oyinbo no dey do traditional marriage so wetin i want carry oyinbo white wedding do?!!!

| Nigerians remain the most foolish people on earth, myself inclusive. God! Why won't people just mind their own business? Jude, the older brother started this issue and no one castigated him. Is Peter too young to choose a life partner for himself? Do Peter has to sacrifice his blood (son) for ethnicity? Later some fools here 'll be preaching 'one Nigeria'! That country is torn to shreads. Psquare left Jos to make it big in Lagos (South of Nigeria), so tell me what is wrong in him marrying a southerner? I 've always said it that Nigerians are their own worst enemies. SHAME!!! | | |

| I DISAGREE WITH U. B4 U JUMP INTO MARRIAGE, TRY & FIND OUT THE MAN/WOMAN U WANT 2 MARRY AGAIN, IF D MAN IS A VIOLENT MAN, PRAY, PRAY 2 GOD 2 CHANGE HIM, DONT JUST WALK OUT D MARRIAGE JUST LIKE THAT. GOD IS ABLE 2 CHANGE HIM/HER LET'S HONOUR MARRIAGE
If you know the meaning of prayer you won't always say 'pray, pray, pray' concerning every matter! Boko haram - pray, bad government - pray, electricity problem - pray! When 'll Nigerians ever take actions? Faith without work is dead!!! And prayer is a means of communicating with God and from my finding, communication means speaking and listening not requesting requesting and requesting! Haba, God kill boko haram, God remove Goodluck Jonathan, God change PHCN, God change the Aviation industry, God construct good roads, God do this, God do that......... I tire for my people o. Even the bible says ' my people perish for lack of wisdom'!!!

Forum / Naijapals Base (Metro life) / Re: how did your parents tell u about sex? |
on: 1-05-2014 11:34 AM
| Big up to you poster! Someone did finally raised a very important topic here but most people are either claiming to be an expert and insults the poster asking her' if she's just learning about sex at her age'. Ogas, no one is an island of knowledge when it comes to segxwal matter 'cause "as u waka reach, na im u go see reach. This topic is better and much more matured for discussion than all those gossips that are brought here without facts, proofs and authenticity. Atleast this one is our own personal experiences. To the topic, I wasn't informed of anything about sex by my parents 'cause of the ignorance back then which most people still suffer today. Why keep something that can't be hidden? My parents never told me anything and I thank God i wasn't too curious to know but the world is fast developping with the modern technologies and means of communicational exchange. You can find out about almost everything now on the internet and these children of nowadays are exposed to the internet very early in life so the need to tell them things, present the dangers and encourage them on how to handle matters before they get endangered by friends and the internet! Once again thumb up to you my sis HOPEA for getting me talking today!!! | | |

| abeg go and seat down for potopoto, how abt pastors dat did not marry tru f/b and still leaves their wives to marry anoda?did they also got to know dem tru f/b,twitter of naijapals?? NONSENSE.
You are simply ignorant or an illiterate. Common simple english you no understand. Marrying traditionally simply means to get to know the person you are getting married to personally and not this distance/internet relationship without getting to know each other well. Nna, na u no gree go skul abi na skul no gree u??
