Most men do not have the mental capacity to be objective in choosing a suitable mate.  Most times they are thinking with their little head, or their bellies  which always bring them misery.  Some guy will read this right now and in 30 minutes run out and have unprotected sex with a strange woman he knows nothing about.  Another will meet an attractive woman falls in lust with her beauty, he may be overwhelmed with her cooking skills, run out and marry not knowing that she has other plans in store for him.  Points are good, but which man is going to take heed? that  is the important question.

So obviously this marriage was not under the Holy Spirit. I guess he didn't hear God's voice telling him not to get married.  When your desire for things of the flesh are greater than your desire for holy communion with God, you life will always be a misery.  Most of the prophets of old were never married.  Not that I am saying people should not marry, but their must have been a reason why those men never looked to marriage especially when it was of such importance to their culture.

Hope their oil finding will be a blessing to their ppl and not the curse it has become for so many other African nations.  I have a feeling they will do well, they have more unity as a nation, and a clear purpose as a people.

The fact that you do not source this story proves that it is false. Finding a pic of children dressed up and then making up a story to go with it is unethical.  For all we know these could be children going to their first communion, or graduating kindergarten.

If I was a woman in Nigeria a military, or police man would be the last person I would look at for  a relationships.  Poor girl died in her sleep, didn't even get the chance to say I LOVE YOU to her friends and family. If they need to look through his feces then it is they who should be searching through it.  Looks like being a Nigerian citizen doesn't count for shit (pun intended).  What an indignity.

Who knew what her life was like.   I would bet anything that the entire truth about this story was not revealed.  So many parents are clueless about their children.

This is what happens when ppl place more value on things than people. 

The general consensus seems to be the woman is at fault here and she needs to do this and that to ensure the man doesn't stray.  Every recommendation is to tell her to freshen up, cook, submit etc.  My observation of seeing a fair share of women who have been in this situation is that there is not a bloody thing a woman can do to stop a  man from cheating on her. NOTHING!

If a man wants to cheat, he will cheat because cheating is character flaw like stealing, or lying.  Women have gone as far as to donate their kidney, bone marrow and the man still cheated when he got over his illness, divorced her azz, and is walking around with her body part in him while he goes on with his life.  If your man is cheating on you, do not get down in the dumps about it.  Reinvent yourself, go back to school and learn something new, advance yourself in every way, go out more with your girlfriends, take vacations and live your life.  Get a makeover, buy new clothes and get out there and live your life.  Now, I am not telling anybody to go out there and cheat, all I am saying is staying home bawling in your pillow, and thinking you did something wrong will only cause illness and send you to your grave sooner; then he marries one of those hussies and they come in your home and start raising your children while you are cold in the grave.  If that's the outcome you want then continue bawling and be depressed, because I have seen that too, but if you intend to be a survivor, then do like all survivors do.  Get out there and live your life, and don't let anybody tell you you need to jump through hoops and twist yourself into a pretzel to let him not stray.  Also  make sure that mofo uses a condom every time,  also make sure you have money saved in the event he kicks you to the curb.  

The govt need to implement extremely stiff laws on these ppl, but they likely wont because they probably got as far as they did on rituals.  These ritualists are a pestilence on the land.

A country that wishes to advance itself should look to produce as much for itself as it can.  Jobs are needed in Nigeria so any initiative that creates jobs and stimulate the economy should be looked at. 

I am so tired of hearing about these kind of senseless deaths.  How many times have these same stories turn up here on this board and you want to tell me that ppl still do not know about the dangers of keeping generators indoors?  Are there no PSA in Nigeria warning ppl about these things?  And why do ppl depend on generators so much?  There are safety lanterns that can provide bright light similar to a 60 watt bulb and they are much safer than keeping a generator.  Yes, you may not get to plug in your electronics or fan, but you will wake up alive in the morning.  These generators are a nuisance to the ears, nose and the general environment with their toxic emission, how ppl live with these things is beyond me, they probably see it as a status symbol to have one. May the innocent children who lost their lives RIP.

To take from this child that which she should have had the opportunity to choose who she wishes to be with, and to add insult to injury to offer marriage to the person you molested.  I hope this child will receive the necessary counseling she needs for as long as she needs it.

To be honest the woman's face  looks a lot like her except the eyes are strange.  I am not sure what else is going on in the pic, but if this is what she wants ppl to see when she is walking away then that's her choice. Thankfully I don't know her, and chances are slim to none that our paths will ever cross so this will be someone else's  problem.  With this tattoo she has pretty much resigned herself to interest  from only a  certain kind of man for marriage.
