61  Forum / Naijapals Base (Metro life) / Re: More Women Who Have Been Raped and Robbed By Cynthia Osokogu's FB Killers Emerge on: 26-08-2012 02:20 AM

More victims need to come forward so that the law enforcement
can build a substantial case against the criminals. These killers deserve
the death penalty for their horrible crimes. They do not deserve any
mercy since they showed none to their victims.

The Marketplace and especially the demand  for hotel rooms
set the prices.  If the prices are too high, there will be lots of
vacancies and the hotel will lose money. If too low, there will
too much demand and the hotel will adjust the prices.

I do believe that some Nigerian hotels are overpriced. They
are able to continue that pricing because the local politicians
spend lots of money on hotels rooms for their private businesses.

WE MUST NOT LET THE CRIMINALS WIN

My deepest sympathy to the Osukogu family. It is difficult to lose
a loved one so youmg as Cynthia. May her soul rest in peace.

This highlights the security problem we are having in the nation.
No one is immune to the crimes. The problem affects everyone
regardless of our economic and social status in the society. We
need the colloboration and help of ever citizens in order to
wage and win in the fight against crimes.

What a thoughtless behavior? She could have looked for another
adult if she was unable to wait for her husband. Well now she will
forever be known as the women who had an orgy with her students.
Not a good reputation.

This story story should be read by every single nigerian living abroad.
Reason is that there is a lesson here for everyone of doing same crime.
There are so many young adult women (over 21) who he could have
befriended, get to know, and have a loving relationship with. No need to
lure an underage girl home to rape.
There are also many nigerians woman he could have met in the church,
at school, at work and in Nigerian parties and get to know better. And
later start a relationship and possibly marry.
Now he would spend over 8 years in jail and forever be a child rapist.
What a stupid act.

He could have been a left-behind Naija baby.

I met some of them in UK, Germany, and USA. These children feel a sense of
betrayal because Nigerian fathers left their single mothers & returned home
home permanently without contact or care.
My daughter have friends who come to my house with pictures of their Naija
father asking if I know him. Some nigerian fathers like other irrespnsible
dads did ababdoned their kids because they could not pay child supports.
Folks try to understand that possible reasons for his "denial".

THE NAME NIGERIA IS LIKE A CURSE, WE THAT ARE IN FOREIGN LAND ARE DOING MORE THAN THIS, IF YOU ARE IN A BUSINESS WITH A WHITE MAN AND HE DISCOVER THAT YOU ARE A NIGERIAN, HE QUIT. NOBODY WANTS TO HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH BOKOHARAM, THAT IS NIGERIAN'S MIDDLE NAME

If this is true, then it is very unfortunate. People understand that not everyone
is corrupt or is a terrorists because he/she is from Nigeria.
This gentleman's "denial" simply means that he does not have a good relation
with his father.
He could just be very ashame of the poor performance our team at the Olympics.

This is good and bad news for the inmates.
First, the good for some of the inmates. The spoiled-rotten, problem children
of rich nigerians serving jail terms in UK would be dancing for joy now.
Reason is that, their rich parents will be able to buy them favors while serving
prison terms in Nigeria. In Naija, money buys everything especially
privileges such as special foods, extended visits by parents, girlfriends, wifes,
prostiture etc. Whatever the problem children of rich men need  they get.

Now the bad news for the criminals from poor homes. Their "hell" will start
when they arrive in Naija prisons. The food will be worst than those in UK
prisons, their human rights will be abused beyond descriptions, infact they
will do hard times. Psychological torture for them will be watching their rich
fellow inmates "enjoying" prison vacations while they (poor inmates) do hard times.

A nigerian is accused of a drug crime. His tribe does not matter.

Please lets promote unity not hate.

                               THE ACCUSED IS A NIGERIAN!

The last time I looked at my Nigerian passport, it said NIGERIA not Hausa,
Fulani, Kanuri, Ibo, Yoruba, Ijaw or Bini. I know yours also said NIGERIA.
So why are we so fixated or focused on the TRIBE?

It is a big shame that a lot people here spent lots of time trying  to shame the
tribe of the accused drug traffiker. His tribe does does not matter. In the
report he is described as a NIGERIAN. The asian nation does not care about
his tribe.
Let us stop the holier than thou attitude of trying to shame other tribe anytime
there is a story about crimes commited by nigerians overseas. There are
criminals in every tribe. When a Nigerian is executed for a crime overseas, it
is a tragedy for the whole nation NOT just for his family or tribe.

It is time for us to see this as a national problem and try to look for solution
together. We must not let this be one of the issues that divides us.

we run things.......things don't run us. Cool Cool Cool

Are you sure of your info? Past stories and actions by Asian nations
would prove you WRONG. It is not an empty threat.........they will
execute this gentleman. Their laws clearly impose death for drug
crimes.
If they only have circumstancial evidence, he will be given
life sentence. For example if someone is implicated due to a guilty
trafficker's confession but he was not actually caught with drugs.

I have the same question as you, Ms. Lanudja.
Why can't Nigerians learn from past stories of
Nigerians traffickers executed for drug crimes?

They must know that the penalty for the crime
is death, yet they engage in the crime.
We are yet to find the answer.

Everytime I read a story about drug crimes in Asia involving Nigerians
I ask why did these men continue to engage in crimes with very severe
penalty.
Nagging Questions:
1) Is it possible that these nigerians are not aware of the penalty
   for drug crimes?
2) Is greed behind this drug trafficking crimes?
3) Is it possible that the Asian countries unfairly target Nigerians?
4) Could  these nations also intentionally "frame" Nigerians?

You may be correct but I think that the more plausable
reason is jealousy. Most women do not like to see their
husbands take a second wife. That is not a good reason to kill.
I fail to understand why men need more than one wife.

The church killings continue to increase and the government appears to be at lost

time to seek outside help from nations with experirence fighting terrorism.

Most of the advice here are against interfaith marriages. That is wise.
Those against interfaith union, should not I will start any relationship
with someone they cannot marry.

Things will get very complicated once you get involved and invested in
the relationship. Most churches in USA and possibly in Naija create
opportunities for members who are single to meet and connect.  The
Catholic and Jehavoh Witnesses have such connection for single
people. I do not know about other faiths. Happy relationships folks.
