If you get married after you become famous do you keep your maiden name or take on the husband's last name?

Personal choice!

Personal choice indeed!!

Sounds like you are being forced, or somewhat unwilling to do it the traditional way. My guess is, before long that unwillingness wiill manifest in other areas of the union, and gradually pride sets in and downfall of the marriage follows. Then what??

It appears that you live with the girl in her parents' house, why is that? Well, my advice will be to support your little girl financially as much as you can by sending money to her and make sure you keep records. Let go of her to her parents, when she must have over stayed her welcome, the fight will be between her and the mother. At that time one of two things will happen: 1, She will come looking for you, or 2, both of you would have gone your separate ways. If 1, depending on her level of remorse, you might want to take her back bcos of your baby, but if 2, then so be it, after all it was a loveless relationship.

Sometimes i get ashamed to be associated with the kind of people in the Naijapals website.

Some talk as if it's a 7 years old replying to a thread, others talk as if they have not one trace of wisdom

Most of the females just type anything just to fill up space.

Micheal esseien would definately have his reason, i'm sure his coach would have asked him, his friends and fellow team mates would have asked him, the chelsea management team would have been all aware.

Someone that abandoned his own son with the mother since he was 2 years old, someone that never for once paid his school fees or send money to him throughout his schooling days, do we all know what the mother have gone through for Micheal and his siblings, do we all know if James essien, his father, have at a time told his mother that she bore him bastards and useless children.

I dont know what it is but pls dont judge by what the dad is now saying, pls for God sake.

We should please beg Micheal and his mom to forgive and forget what this man has done and please help him stay comfortable for the few years he have left.

Peace out.

You are absolutely correct. Not until I read your comment am begining to think that majority of the guys on naijapals can hardly think objectively, and as for the girls - you did hit the nail on the head.

Would you not think that you need to take a second look at your own character too? That could be a starting point to discovering why " they are goats, liars, decievers, whatever" to you. More over when you say that without any exception you are doing so to the inclusion of the important men in your life - unless you are saying there are none. Those men need your APOLOGY right now.

I am 50, I am married . My husband has a sex mate he has been going out with for 17 years and he brought her home recently. We all sleep in the same room, on the same bed and my husband has sex with her in my presence. He told me about her sometimes back that he wanted her to have a child for him. The issue of having sex with her while I am present started last November. Whenever they are making love, I never react but last week, they nearly pushed me out of bed. Later, I told my husband to stop messing around if he is not having a child with her again. Really, he likes sex but I have tried my best to satisfy him despite the fact that I don’t really like it. He served in the military and had many women then. I don’t know this woman’s mission, please help me.

I hate it when people come with some cooked up nonsense story. If you must lie to instigate a debate, at least make it sound real. By the way how can you say you are a married woman while your profile suggestss otherwise. This one is a failure, try another lie and make sure it sounds good. BS (bull sh.....t)

GOD save men from women with such notion.this is just too much.such women and ladies are losers of the highest order.they just cant get physical with any man they then seek spiritual help.what i want to know is exactly to what end will all these(potion)end or last?Huh?Huh??.even in this modern trend such ophobic act is still practiced.this kind desperation from some women na wa ooooo.nor be today e don dey happen before sha.

It is the suspension of the natural order, unfortunately its not going to end until God takes the world by surprise. It may only work on those that are not prayerful and, for the women that uses those, they WILL be worse-of afterwards. The relationships WILL end as quickly as it started.

This is a heart wrenching story. Giving that this guy is on top of his game in every aspect, fame, money and all that, it makes no sense to me that he won't let go of his past hurt. Obviously there is more to the story, by his father's admission - he wasn't there for the boy when he needed him most irrespective of his sugar-coated flimsy excuses:

I must confess I was not sending him money when he was in school, but it was not deliberate because I was not having money at the time… I did my best to look after him but as a revenue collector, what could I have done. I took him to secondary school, when he had the Liberty opportunity I played a major role. You ask Alhaji Sly Tetteh.”

We all can blame the guy all we want but the truth still remains, you reap what you sow. Make a monster out of your child - you deal with it till he gets some validation to get over his or her anger. Though am not in anyway condoning his act, but its good to see the truth for what it is. I hope he makes things right with his father before its too late else history will repeat itself. Never abandon a child. Hint hint!! REMEMBER THE 15YR OLD GIRL THAT CALLED HER FATHER USELESS??
