The fashion world might be obsessed with youth but it seems no one has told 75-year-old Jean Woods, who has a trendy Hoxton haircut and loves DMs.

Or Daphne Selfe, who, at 85, is the world's oldest model - and one of the most stylish, with a wardrobe cool enough to leave the likes of Cara Delevingne looking on in envy.

Or Gillian Lynne, who says she will wear mini-skirts at 87 if she wants, adding that her legs are her 'best asset'.

And they are not alone, as new Channel 4 documentary, Fabulous Fashionistas, reveals. The film follows six spectacularly well-dressed pensioners - none of whom is letting age get in the way of looking stylish.

One of the most adventurous is Sue Kreitzman, 73, who has turned dressing into an art form - quite literally.

An artist by trade, she frequently designs her own clothes, which she describes as a release 'from the tyranny of fashion'.

 

With her bold red frames, chunky bangles and penchant for black, she bears a striking resemblance to the fashion world's grandmother-in-chief, Rosita Missoni, another 70-something still making her mark on the fashion world.

Then there's Jean Barker, Baroness Trumpington, 91, a Conservative peer who has made a point of refusing to go quietly into the fashion night and can regularly be spotted intently, but stylishly, listening to debates from the comfort of the Lords' iconic red benches.

'She snuck in under the wire but I couldn’t resist because she is such a character,' says Sue Bourne, the director behind the documentary.

'She is terrifically well put-together and she  shops from catalogues. Actually she has a bit of an addiction to them.'

For Bridget Sojourner, 75, it is not catalogues but charity shops that fuel her passion for fashion.

Despite subsisting on a pension of just £100 a week, she cuts a striking figure in her crimson turban and chunky jewels.

On her shopping list are flowing dresses vibrant scarlet and black, which she combines with eye-catching costume jewellery, uber-glamorous hats and her most recent purchase, a £4 pair of Doc Marten boots.

'Style, as one gets older, is more noticeable,' she explains. 'How I look is to do with my identity and the fun of it. It’s nothing to do with looking younger.'

It might not be about looking younger, but you'd never know it when looking at Gillian Lynne, 87.

A former ballerina, Lynne, who looks at least 20 years younger than she really is, exercises every day and still wears both mini-skirts and leggings.

'You just mustn’t allow the ageing process in,' she reveals.

Her other secret for eternal youth is that she is married to a man 27 years younger than her.

'My friends thought it was positively indecent when we started to see each other, but since we are still together now, how silly they look now!'

Her main gripe with women 'giving up' at a certain age is that they let their posture go.

'You see them hunched over, looking downward. Everything seems to sag. They look dejected. My training as a dancer always taught me that you stand up straight and get those shoulders back.

'To be crude about it, the nipples should lead – and how can they do that if they are pointing down towards the floor somewhere.'

She has no issues about wearing short skirts. Even minis are OK. 'I know people probably look at the face and go "oh dear" but my legs have always been my best asset. Why should I stop showing them off.'

It's a philosophy with which Woods can identify, although she admits that after a knee operation, mini-skirts are not for her anymore.

'Oh no. I don’t really go above the knee with a skirt. Once you do that, at my age, you have to start thinking about the scars from my knee replacement op.'

Resplendent in her favourite scarlet T-shirt and grey-checked skirt, she's got hair that owes more than a little to Mary Quant - and the attitude to match.

Widowed at 70, she filled the hole left by her husband with a job at Gap before taking herself - and her considerable styling skills - off to work at a boutique in Bath.

'I'm leading a different life,' adds Woods, who also runs three times a week, despite having had her knee replaced. 'It's more adventurous.'

Jean became Gap's oldest employee six years ago and has gone on to work at many of the big high street names, including current employer Bloomsbury & Co.

Jean hopes her TV appearance will help to persuade older people than life doesn't stop the day you pick up your pension.

'If it shows older people that life is there for the grabbing and that you have to take that plunge, then I will be happy,' adds Jean.

'I don't think youngsters think about it in the same way. When I go into Topshop, they are used to seeing me now and just accept that I am buying their clothes.'

One of Jean's two sons, Alec, 49, said the whole family supports her fashion-savvy style. He said Jean's grandchildren, who are all in their teens, regularly ask their grandmother for tips on how to look cool.

Alec said: 'She has always dressed like that, so to us it doesn't look any different. The kids accept the way she looks as normal, but when their friends come round they say "I wish my gran could dress like that".

'We all know that the way she dresses, and her personality, means she stands out.'

Richmond Outreach Center (ROC) in Virginia has been rocked and its Senior Pastor has been removed due to allegations of serious misconduct in a case involving inappropriate behaviour with underage girls.

The church saw the loss of Pastor Geronimo Aguilar, who has resigned after the allegations surfaced. Known as “Pastor G,” he was charged with seven felonies in the shameful incident, which took place before his church was founded in 2001.

Since Pastor G operates in a society where the law deals with all, he has been charged to court:
If convicted, he may face life in prison. Even worse is the fact that his church found out later about several of his extramarital affairs that took place within the church during Pastor G’s time in leadership.

“After our former pastor was arrested related to charges in Texas, the board of directors became aware of his multiple extramarital affairs with members of our church and community,” a statement by the church said.

“This biblically disqualified him from the office of pastor and leadership of the ROC in any capacity. The board of directors is committed to providing godly leadership at all levels of ministry.”

 New York City is a jungle even for the celebrities.

Nicole Kidman was involved in a sidewalk pileup on Thursday outside of her Manhattan hotel when a paparazzo ran into her on his bike.

Images of the incident show that Kidman fell to the ground and lost at least one of her heels as the photographer ended up in a heap with his bicycle.

Witnesses at the scene told TMZ that the 46-year-old actress didn't have any visible injuries. Another onlooker told Us Weekly that while Kidman "looked hurt, there wasn't any blood." Those who saw the incident also said it appeared that the photographer, Carl Wu, tried to hit his brakes and failed, losing control of his bike.

Kidman's camp has yet to respond to requests for comment. The "Grace of Monaco" star was in town for New York Fashion Week, and was returning from Calvin Klein's Thursday show when the accident occurred.

A Chinese woman lied to her daughter that her 'real' mother was dead for more than a decade to ensure she worked hard at school and learned to be independent.

The woman, known as Shen, from Shenyang city, was worried that her husband's wealth would make their daughter Cheng Cheng spoiled and arrogant.

When the girl was about to enter fourth grade, Shen told her she was not her biological mother and that she was simply providing for her education until university.

Cheng Cheng did not believe her initially, but became shocked and confused when Shen stuck rigidly to her story.

But before long, the girl's academic performance improved and became 'sensible and obedient', it was reported by The South China Morning Post which cited the Shenyang Evening News.

Cheng Cheng reportedly also chose to attend boarding school to increase her sense of independence before going on to Dalian Jiatong University, where she graduated with top grades.

It was only when she started her job at a software firm in Shanghai that Shen finally revealed that she was her biological mother all along - 13 years after telling the lie.

Shen told the Shenyang Evening News that she did not regret perpetuating the deceit.

She said: 'My daughter is beautiful, she has a successful career making over 6,000 Yuan (£620) a month.

'There may be people who do not agree with my methods, but if I had [told her the truth], she would have been satisfied in her existing environment and wouldn't have the prospects that she has now.'

However, critics say Shen's parenting style could have serious consequences for Cheng Cheng later in life.

Psychologist Huang Yu said: 'It's important to teach a child the value of independence.

'But... we need to be also concerned about a child's spiritual growth, not just a child's academic performance.'

An Indian court sentenced four men to death Friday for the rape and murder of a 23-year-old woman in New Delhi, an attack that appalled the South Asian nation.

Announcing the sentence, Judge Yogesh Khanna said the crime "shocked the collective conscience" of India and fell into the "rarest of rare category" that deserves capital punishment.

"In these times when crimes against women are on the rise, the court cannot turn a blind eye to this gruesome act," he said.

One of the convicted men, Vinay Sharma, broke down in tears and cried loudly as the judge spoke.

Prosecutors had asked for the death penalty for the men, citing the "extreme brutality" of the attack, which took place on a moving bus in December. They had also argued the court needed to send a message to Indian society with its judgment.

Anger about the deadly assault has had a widespread impact in India. It set off demonstrations, started a debate about women's treatment in Indian society and prompted the introduction of tougher punishments for segxwal abuse.

"We are very happy. Justice has been delivered," said the father of the victim, whose name was withheld under Indian law.

Calls for the men to be executed had come from the victim's family members, high-profile politicians and many other Indians.

The announcement of the sentence was met with cheering from hundreds of protesters outside the court. Posters and banners held by those in the crowd read "hang the rapists" and "a woman's life is the foundation, do not defile it."

Indian Home Minister Sushilkumar Shinde said his initial reaction was that "justice was given to that girl and family."

Defense attorneys had urged the judge to show leniency and sentence the men to life in prison, saying the death penalty should be the exception, not the rule.

As the judge announced the death sentence, defense lawyer A.P. Singh shouted, "This is not the victory of truth. But it is the defeat of justice."

A shocking attack

The brutality of the New Delhi attack, as described by police and prosecutors, helped stir the strong emotions surrounding the case.

On the evening of December 16, the victim, a 23-year-old physiotherapy student, had gone to see the movie "The Life of Pi" with a male friend at a New Delhi mall.

During their journey home, they boarded a bus at a major intersection in upmarket South Delhi.

The driver and at least five other men on the bus were drunk and looking for a "joy ride," police said.

The men, from a poverty-ridden slum on the outskirts of Delhi, dragged the woman to the back of the bus and beat up her male friend.

Police said the men took turns molesting the woman, using an iron rod to violate her as the bus drove around the city for almost an hour. When they had finished, they dumped the two victims by the side of the road.

The woman's injuries were so severe that some internal organs had to be removed. She died two weeks later at a hospital in Singapore.

Four found guilty

After a trial that lasted about seven months, the Delhi court Tuesday convicted four of the men -- ages 19 to 28 -- of murder, rape and kidnapping.

The victim's parents had tears in their eyes as the judge read the verdict in which he said the men had been found guilty of "committing the murder of a helpless victim." Her brother wiped a tear from his cheek.

The four men -- Sharma, Akshay Thakur, Pawan Gupta and Mukesh Singh -- will appeal the verdict, their attorneys said.

Opinion: Victims blamed in India's rape culture

Human rights groups criticized the decision to impose capital punishment.

"The rape and murder of the young woman in Delhi last year was a horrific crime, and our deepest sympathy goes out to the victim's family. Those responsible must be punished, but the death penalty is never the answer," said Tara Rao, director of Amnesty International India. "Sending these four men to the gallows will accomplish nothing except short-term revenge."

Rao said there is "no evidence that the death penalty is a particular deterrent to crime, and its use will not eradicate violence against women in India."

Death sentences issued by Indian courts have rarely been carried out in the past decade. No state executions took place between 2004 and late 2012, when the last surviving gunman from the 2008 terrorist attacks in Mumbai was hanged.

But human rights advocates have said they fear India's stance on executions has changed.

"In the past year, India has made a full-scale retreat from its previous principled rejection of the death penalty," Meenakshi Ganguly, South Asia director at Human Rights Watch, said last month.

Two others accused

The fate of two others accused in the case had been determined before this week.

One man, Ram Singh, 35, was found dead in his jail cell in March. Authorities said he had hanged himself, but his family said he had been murdered.

A juvenile court convicted a teenage boy on August 31 for his part in the gang rape, sentencing him to three years in a special juvenile correctional facility.

His trial was in juvenile court because he was 17 at the time of the crime, and the sentence is the maximum allowed under the court's rules.

Many Indians, including the victim's family, expressed dissatisfaction with the sentence.

The same crowd outside the courthouse that cheered Friday's death sentence for the four adults turned their ire on the juvenile. The crowd chanted, "Hang the juvenile."

A lawyer for the victim's family said they would go to India's top court to contest the youth's sentence.

A rape every 22 minutes

As in many countries, rape is a grimly frequent occurrence in India.

According to Indian government statistics, a woman is raped every 22 minutes on average.

But the New Delhi attack seized the country's attention.

Advocates criticized the world's largest democracy for failing to protect half of its population. Protesters demanded better treatment of women and decried the apathy of police and the judicial system.

Men respond to rape crisis

The government passed tougher anti-rape laws, introducing the death penalty for repeat offenders, and imprisonment for acid attacks, human trafficking and stalking.

But some Indians said that while the laws on crimes against women have changed, mindsets and enforcement have been slower to adjust.

'Take it to the source'

Government figures show the number of women reporting rapes has risen significantly since the New Delhi attack and the heavy scrutiny that followed it. Observers said it indicates women who are victims of segxwal attacks feel more emboldened to come forward than they did before.

Prosecution of such crimes has improved, said Kiran Bedi, a human rights activist and former Indian police officer. But it will take a heavy emphasis on the family and school environments to resolve the problem in the long run, Bedi said.

"You can't just begin and end with the police and the prosecution and the courts," she said. "You have to go backward and take it to the source."

A college which tried to ban pupils wearing the full facial veil for security reasons has abandoned the rule after a public outcry.

All students, staff and visitors to Birmingham Metropolitan College were told they must have their faces visible at all times so they are ‘easily identifiable’.

But the move was heavily criticised by some students, one describing the policy as disgusting. Nick Clegg said he was 'uneasy' about the idea.

More than 800 people claimed they planned to attend a protest against the policy today to stand up to what they said was an ‘Islamophobic’ decision.

David Cameron’s spokesman said the Prime Minister defended the right of educational institutions to be able to ‘set and enforce their own school uniform policies’.

Downing Street said the PM would support the a ban on Muslim veils at his children’s schools.

His spokesman said today: 'We support schools in setting their own uniform guidelines. These are decisions that are around uniform are rightly for schools' to take.'

But Deputy Prime Minister Mr Clegg yesterday said he felt ‘uneasy’ about a veil ban in a schools, although he could understand why it was needed to identify people at airport checkouts.

The college which has 44,000 students and is the third largest in the UK, said headwear poses a security risk and their policy ‘includes the removal of hoodies, hats, caps and veils so that faces are visible’.

This would stop female Muslim pupils from wearing the niqab, the full facial veil where only the woman’s eyes are visible, or the burqa where the eye area is covered in mesh.

But the college has now issued a statement saying it has decided to modify its stance to allow individuals to wear 'specific items of personal clothing to reflect their cultural values'.

More than 9,000 people signed an online petition set up by NUS Black Students' Campaign calling on the college's principal Dr Christine Braddock to remove the ban.

Headteachers have the power to order students to remove veils after a series of high profile legal cases.

In a key 2007 case, a High Court judge rejected a bid by a pupil to be allowed to wear the niqab in class.

Although the 12-year-old’s three older sisters had worn the headwear at the same school in Buckinghamshire, teachers said it impeded their ability to communicate with her.

They said they needed to be able to tell if a pupil was paying attention, engaged with her work or distressed.

After the case, the Government issued guidance that enabled headteachers to ban full-face veils on grounds of security, safety or learning.

It said teachers were justified in enforcing uniform rules which mean they can see and make eye contact with pupils.

Schools need to be able to identify pupils to maintain order in classrooms and to spot any intruders, it added.

But rather than a French-style blanket ban on face coverings in all public spaces, the Department of Education said institutions could outlaw the coverings as long as they carried out a proper consultation.

Updated Government guidance released last year clearly continues to back heads who choose to ban face-coverings.

It says it is ‘still lawful’ to restrict the freedom of pupils to express their religion on the grounds of ‘health, safety and the protection of the rights and freedoms of others’.

And religious freedoms do not mean pupils can practise their beliefs ‘at any time, in any place, or in any particular manner,’ the  guidance adds.

According reports by AFP, a Toronto woman who used a fake baby bump to try to smuggle two kilograms of cocaine was arrested yesterday September 11th at Bogota airport by Colombian police.

28-year-old Tabitha Leah Ritchie, identified as a social worker, was stopped while trying to board an Air Canada flight in Bogota, Colombia after an inspector noticed that her belly was unusually cold and hard. Mrs Beatrice Kattey, the wife of the kidnapped Archbishop of the Ecclesiastical Province of the Niger Delta, Most Reverend Ignatius Kattey has appealed for her husband’s unconditional release.

Bishop Kattey was abducted Friday night in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, along with his wife but she was later abandoned.

For the past five days, no word has been heard from either Archbishop Kattey or his abductors.

Mrs Kattey was very emotional when she received Mr George Feyii, the Secretary to the Rivers State Government, SSG, who represented Governor Chibuike Amaechi.

Feyii, on behalf of Amaechi, was on a sympathy visit to the family of Archbishop Kattey at their residence in Alode-Eleme in Eleme Local Government Area of the state.

“My husband is a man of God that preaches peace, he believes in God and wherever he is, God is with him, we are sure he will be well, but he should be released”, Mrs Beatrice Kattey said.

Wife of the Anglican Bishop also expressed regrets over the security lapses in the state and called for serious concern and attention to avert future re-occurrence.

Amaechi has, however, enjoined Christian religious leaders to intensify prayers for the unconditional release of the Archbishop Ignatius Kattey.

The Governor said his administration is doing everything humanly possible to ensure the unconditional release of Archbishop Kattey.

Amaechi urged the family of Bishop Kattey to remain strong in their prayers and trust in the Lord for His intervention and release of the kidnapped Anglican Archbishop by unknown gunmen.

Governor Amaechi further appealed to the kidnappers of Bishop Kattey to urgently effect his release to enable him continue his ecclesiastical call to the service of God and humanity, which he stressed, is for the benefit of all Nigerians and betterment of society.

Also speaking at the event, Chancellor of the Diocese of the North, Sir Emeka Ichioku expressed confidence that Archbishop Ignatius Kattey will return to his family unharmed and healthy.

Earlier, Chairman of Clergy Association of the Diocese of the Anglican Communion of Niger Delta North, Venerable Richard Okpara also offered prayers for the family of Kattey and God’s intervention for his unconditional release.

Officials of the Lagos State Government in conjunction with the police taskforce have arrested four cows and 37 butchers for operating at an illegal slaughter slab at Otto Awori area of Badagry, Lagos, southwest Nigeria.

Officials of the Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives, with the taskforce, stormed the area on Tuesday and arrested the cows and suspects.

Four vans of butchered meat were also carted away to the Taskforce office at Alausa where the suspects would be arraigned in court. The four cows were taken to Agege Abattoir.

Chairman of the illegal butchers, Adewunmi Olaseun, said they normally slaughter about 20 cows on daily basis, adding that they also pay N18,000 levy to officials of the Lagos State Government and N5,000 to the Otto Awori Local Council Development Area, LCDA, on weekly basis.

He said the association did not know that they were operating at an illegal slaughter slab.

Olaseun said the meat being sold by the butchers was not contaminated, stressing that “the fact is that we also consume the meat at times. So, there is nothing wrong with the meat. We consume it. Our wives also consume it, so it is safe for consumption. We have the receipts of the payment made to the government in our office.”

When asked why they attacked government officials with charms, he said: “The charms on us were to protect us against armed robbers. We deal with money and we can’t allow robbers to kill us just like that. So, it is meant for protection against robbers.”

Another butcher, Ogundele Opeloyeru, said they had been operating in the area for the past 15 years, while corroborating his colleague’s statement that they pay weekly levy to the state government and Otto Awori LCDA.

“We are not aware that we operate illegal slaughter slab,” he said.

Senior Special Adviser to the Governor on Agriculture and Co-operatives, Mr Nuraini Funso denied that government officials collect money from the illegal butchers.

“There are certified veterinary doctors in the entire registered and approved abattoirs in the state and there is a lot of danger in patronising illegal slaughter slabs. The state government is doing enough to eradicate illegal slaughter slabs and abattoirs in the state .

“Residents had been equally warned to desist from patronising unregistered and unapproved abattoir. The state is very must concerned about the health of individuals in the state. We can’t afford to allow Lagosians to consume meat that are not screened.  They are not just ready to change. We have about eight slaughter slabs and over 200 refrigerated meat vans. They are just concerned about their pockets,” he explained.

Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives, Dr. Yakub Bashorun said government has declared zero tolerance for unwholesome meat distribution in the state, lamenting that those who operate illegal slaughter slabs do so without obtaining license from the government.

“They don’t have veterinary doctors to ascertain the health status of the animals before slaughtering them. They have been creating nuisance and we have to dislodge them. Ignorance is no excuse. They know they are operating illegal abattoir,” he stated.

Bashorun appealed to Lagosians not to patronize illegal slaughter slabs to purchase meat as such meat was not healthy for consumption.

He said  those arrested would be arraigned in court and that they would be made to face the music to serve as deterrent to others.

Retired farmer Dhaqabo Ebba, from Ethiopia, says he is a staggering 160 years old, which would make him the world's oldest living man.

In a statement to Oromiya TV, he provided so much detail on the history of his local area that reporter Mohammed Ademo became convinced that Mr Ebba must be at least 160 years old.

This would make him 46 years older than the oldest ever recorded man.

The last man confirmed to have lived in the 19th century was Jiroemon Kimura, who was born in Japan on April 19, 1897.

He died in June this year at the age of 116 - making him the longest-living man in history.

Mr Kimura, who lived in Kyotango, Japan, left behind seven children, 14 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and 15 great-great-grandchildren.

According to 2011 government data, Japan has more than 50,000 centenarians, reinforcing its reputation for longevity.

Jordan Linn Graham made an initial appearance in court Monday to face a charge of second-degree murder. If convicted, she faces life in prison.

According to a criminal complaint, Graham recently told a friend she was having second thoughts about marrying Cody L. Johnson. reported the couple had been married for just more than a week.

The complaint said the couple argued the night of July 7. Upset, they decided to go hiking in Glacier National Park in Flathead County, Montana, where they continued to fight.

Graham told police that her husband grabbed her by the arm. She turned and removed it.

"Graham stated she could have just walked away, but due to her anger, she pushed Johnson with both hands in the back and as a result, he fell face first off the cliff," the complaint read.

His body was discovered several days later.

Graham's attorney, Michael Donahoe, declined to comment on the case.

According to the complaint, Graham reportedly told a friend she planned to talk with Johnson about her reservations on July 7. The same day, Graham sent the friend a text message saying, "Oh well, I'm about to talk to him."

The friend responded, "I'll pray for you guys."

Graham wrote back: "But dead serious if u don't hear from me at all again tonight, something happened."

-- Remee Lee was elated when she became pregnant, but those feelings quickly turned into a nightmare that won't let go of her.

Her boyfriend wasn't happy about the pregnancy, but it was Lee's dream to have a child. Until her boyfriend, John Andrew Welden, took that dream away.

This week, Welden, 28, pleaded guilty to killing their unborn baby. How? He tricked Lee into taking an abortion pill, causing her to miscarry.

"Every day is a nightmare for me ever since this began," Lee told Chris Cuomo on New Day' Tuesday. "Even hearing the guilty (plea) yesterday, it's hard to believe it, it's hard to read it and know that this actually happened to me."

Guilty plea can't take away pain

Lee, 26, was in the Florida courtroom Monday, dabbing away tears as her former boyfriend accepted a plea deal that could send him to prison for at least 13 years.

Welden was indicted under the rarely used federal Unborn Victims of Violence Act, a murder charge that carries a life sentence.

Todd Foster, Welden's defense attorney, told reporters that the stakes of going to trial were too high.

"The possibility of a mandatory life sentence, no discretion to the judge, obviously is a big factor," Foster said. "Obviously it's tragic all around from every angle, and I think that's recognized."

Those who know Lee say she's still burdened by sadness.

"Nothing is going to bring back what was taken from her," Lee's attorney Gil Sanchez said.

She trusted him

Lee has said she was madly in love with Welden when she suspected she was pregnant.

They went together for a sonogram at Welden's father's Tampa-area clinic. The test showed she was six weeks pregnant. Despite her boyfriend's reluctance, Lee planned to have the baby.

Days later, Welden told Lee that her blood tests had shown that she had an infection and needed to take amoxicillin.

But instead of the antibiotic, Welden brought her Cytotec, a drug that causes contractions.

Welden told her to take three pills a day. She trusted him.

After she took only one pill, Lee was rushed to the hospital with abdominal pain and bleeding.

She lost the baby.

When doctors inspected the pills, it was discovered that they were not antibiotics, but abortion pills.

"There's just no words for the horror I wake up with every day that this is my reality. There's no escaping it, there's no turning it off," Lee said.

Welden said nothing as he left the courtroom Monday. Surrounded by security, he silently walked by a group of reporters, got into a black Hummer and was driven away.

Welden is scheduled to be sentenced December 5.

The man was wearing jeans, trainers and a grey T-shirt. The woman wore a sleeveless summer dress and sandals. They both spoke with Welsh accents.

The car, which is still listed on the showroom’s website, has 52,000 miles on the clock and is priced at £18,991.
 

It is described as: 'Metallic black sapphire, this is just a hugely desirable e93 cabriolet with wonderful appointments.'

Police have said the car could now be in use with different plates.

It is believed the couple were allowed to take the car unaccompanied because the dealership has never experienced similar problems.

He said: 'It’s happened to me. A man came in with a child and said he’d take the child home and then take the car out. I thought oh, he must be in Barrow.

'There has got to be trust both ways but now we accompany all of our test drives.'

The personal assistant to the former chairman of Otuoke Community Development Committee (CDC) in Ogbia Local Government Area of Bayelsa State has been arrested for allegedly molesting to death an 18 year old girl. Otuoke is the hometown of President Goodluck Jonathan.

The 36-year old politician turned rapist was arrested by the police as he tried to dispose of the corpse of the innocent girl through the back door.

Indigenes of Otuoke said that the suspect committed the act in an uncompleted building owned by his boss, the former chairman of Otuoke CDC.

An eyewitness said that the suspected rapist was arrested by security personnel. "We saw the civil defense officer dragging the suspect and shouting that he has raped a girl to death," he said.

But the politician is claiming he was only helping the girl after he saw her on the ground (in his house) in pain. Anyway, the Bayelsa State police command confirmed the politician has been transferred to the state capital for further investigation.
