A little girl has baffled doctors by crying stones instead of tears.

The Yemeni girl, 12, produces little hard stones under her eyelids.

Doctors said they still could not give an explanation for such a phenomenon since the girl, Saadiya Saleh, is not suffering from any known disease.

Unfortunately this triggered a panic in rural areas where they assumed the girl must be possessed by magic.

A YouTube film aired by Yemen’s Azal satellite TV channel showed doctors gathered a small box full of stones that dropped out of the girl’s eyes in just a few hours.

The local presenter said: “This case in the second strange phenomenon in the region."

“The case has triggered panic in the area where this girl lives… Some say the girl could be gripped by a magic spell while others say it might be the devil… Others fear it could be the start of a dangerous epidemic.”

Nelson Mandela leaves $4 million estate to family, staff & ANC (See who got what)



The University of the Witwatersrand has issued a statement expressing its gratitude to Nelson Mandela for leaving the university almost R1 million.

“Madiba emphasised the need to address inequality – one of the greatest threats to our young democracy, and Wits is determined to utilise this endowment to tackle this societal peril without delay, through the provision of additional scholarships for our students,” Vice-Chancellor and Principal Professor Adam Habib said in a statement.

“Thank you, Tata, for remembering us in your will – you live on in our memory and in our lives,” Habib said.

Mandela’s estate worth estimated R45 million – AFP

Nelson Mandela left portions of his roughly R45 million estate to his wife Graca Machel, family members, staff, schools and the ANC, according to a summary of his will released Monday.

Two months after the death of the 95-year-old South African statesman, lawyers said wife Graca was entitled to half the estate, but may opt to receive only specified assets, including four properties in Mozambique.

Royalties from his books and other projects, as well as his homes in Johannesburg, Qunu and Mthatha were left to a family trust.

The home in Houghton, Johannesburg where Mandela died on December 5 will be used by the family of his deceased son Makgatho.

“It is my wish that it should also serve as a place of gathering of the Mandela family in order to maintain its unity long after my death,” the former statesman wrote. http://www..com/nelson-mandela-will/

Some stories are just unbelievable. Obiageli Oriuwa, pictured above, killed her brother in-law, a medical doctor because she wanted him out of his father's house. She is married to the doctor’s elder brother and they both lived in the said house with their wives and children. She has been fighting him to leave the house with his family, because the house belongs to her husband, since he was the first son of their father. The unbelievable however happened on Tuesday, when Obi stabbed the doctor to death after a short argument. Read teh full story after the cut.


The real motive, a 35-year old woman, Mrs Obiageli Oriuwa, allegedly killed a medical doctor, Ikechukwu Oriuwa, who was her husband’s younger brother, has been revealed by the family of the victim.

Obiageli, who has been arrested and is undergoing interrogation at the State Criminal Investigation Department, SCID, Panti, Yaba, Lagos, allegedly stabbed the 37-year old medical doctor to death at their family house at 52, Ladega Street, Ajegunle in Apapa, Lagos State, southwest Nigeria, during an argument between them on Tuesday.

She was initially detained at Tolu Police Station in Ajegunle before the matter was transferred to Panti.

A member of the victim’s family, Chinedu Oriuwa, alleged that it was not the first time Obiageli attempted to kill Ikechukwu. He said she had asked the doctor and his family to move out of the family house, claiming that the house belongs to her husband since he is the first son of the family.

Chinedu said though the matter was settled between them, Obiageli still continued to nurse animosity against everybody in the house, including their mother who has now travelled abroad.

Comedienne Princess Blasts Bloggers For Making Up Stories About Her Crashed Marriage
In a new interview with Encomium magazine, Comedienne Princess Dammy lashed out at bloggers for making up stories about what caused her marriage collapse.
Excerpts:

There were some allegations that you were oppressing him financially. They cited an example of both of you in a restaurant where you made it obvious to everyone present that you were the one paying for what the two of you had eaten?
They were there abi? People can say anything. It doesn't matter. The truth is the truth. I did not discuss my marriage breakup with anybody except what I just told you. I am a celebrity, the other person is not a celebrity, so what do you expect?
If Kanye West was dating a non celebrity and not Kim Kardashian, they will say the same thing. So if
I wanted to make the reason public, I would have made it myself. But it is not necessary, marriage is between a couple. We did not take our marriage vow on the street. We took it before God.

Me, I am not afraid of man. I am also afraid of God. Anything that happened between God and a couple is sacred. There is no need itemizing the reasons. What is that going to do? Is it going to make the other party happy? Is it going to make us happy? So it is between the person (husband), I and God.
Really I don't owe anybody the reason why my marriage broke up but they can sit down and start drawing up reasons for themselves. That is their problem. They have God to answer to.

The most authentic news is the one you get from the source. I didn't want people to be speculating because I was already hearing many rumors, bla bla bla, even when we were still together trying to make it work. They kept on writing what they were not sure of. I remember there were times he would ping to say he see what they wrote again.The press, particularly the so-called bloggers, many of whom are not credible kept on writing things that were not happening at all. That is why I said now that the marriage has crashed, I hope they are now happy.
I know few press men who are true to their professional ethics would not be happy with it (breakup) but the other ones that are not true to their professional ethics are the ones writing things that do not exist. But they are not God and cannot be more than God.
