Mr President, Nigerians are much smarter than what you assume, especially those of us in the diaspora who see both worlds and know how things run. We are not fooled by this well-scripted political lie of a speech. How many top govenment officials live on their salaries? Was there a cut on allowances, kick-backs, estacodes, etc? For the sake of transparency could you list dividends/benefits of subsidy removal in the past years to the ordinary Nigerian? Is the economy dependent on the pump price of fuel or the Exportation of Crude/importation of the refined product which is in your hands and that of Patience and the Cabal? Can you sincerely tell Nigerian the Billions of dollars that come from the oil blocks that you have distributed among yourselves. Please read your speech to the birds. You are another political mistake!

Just tinkering at the edges! If you want to slash recurrent expenditure, take a knife to both senators and House of Rep's allowances and remuneration. Can you imagine a Nigerian Senator earns more than his America counterpart? This costly and corrupt system of government is replicated at the state and local government levels. To worsen the situation, State governors, legislators and local government chairmen are there helping themselves to as much public fund as they can. In the event, there is hardly any fund left for capital projects or pay minimum wages.  Nigeria cannot afford the presidential system in its current corrupt form. It is a waste of resources that Nigeria can ill-afford

I agree with you. Whatever additional savings from fuel subsidy removal will just be looted by him, his ostentatious wife Patience and the cabal. Meanwhile ordinary Nigerians will continue to suffer while these set of corrupt politicians build private estates both in the country and abroad. Nobody is fooled Mr GEJ!

WHY MUST OUR SENATORS AND HOUSE OF REPS BE GIVEN BETWEEN N36M AND N45M QUARTERLY AS CONSTITUENCY DEVELOPMENT WHEN WE HAVE LOCAL GOVT

WE ARE SAYING GOVT SHOULD STOP THE DISBURSEMENT OF SUCH FUNDS WITH IMMEDIATE EFFECT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!THAT IS WHY THEY KILL TO GET THERE

LET US STOP THIS MADNESS CALLED OPPRESSION OF THE MASSES!!!!!!!THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE AND WE CANNOT BE SUFFERING IN THE MIDST OF PLENTY
