ROBBERS INVADE KAREN IGHO’S BIRTHDAY

The ‘Karen Amplified’ birthday party hosted by Karen Igho at Club Scintilla, Lekki Expressway on the outskirts of Lagos was nearly ruined by an unfortunate robbery incident, with bandits carting away at least two mobile phones and a car.

A guest Mr Edward Ibisi was allegedly robbed of his black Honda Accord automobile. The car with registration number BU875FKJ, chassis number JHMCD5647RC017686 and engine number F22BZ1210936, was observed missing at about 2:57 am.

According to Ibisi, who spoke with our reporter, he had upon his arrival, parked the car at the Club’s parking space, locked it and left with the key.

‘A few hours after I arrived, I decided it was time to go, so I went to where I parked it only for me to find the car missing’,  in a phone conversation.

Ibisi says he then called the attention of the security men at the venue but no one knew anything was missing.

Efforts made to reach the management of the Club proved abortive. Karen’s reps promised to get back after NET placed a call. They however confirmed that none of the missing items had been found.
