What's the assurance that the new doctors won't go on strike someday? Oga Governor, deal with the underlying issue to prevent future occurrences. Sacking and replacing doctors isn't the solution. People are dying everyday and they all need doctors to help them.

The medical profession is a calling but in Nigeria it is not. If you go to the hospital people will be dying and in pain you find doctors playing with nurses or attending to their private visitors most times when they attend to few patients they will say they are closing for the day while patients are dying. the nurses are the worst ones they will say they are not the one that cause your problem and you should not disturb them then they start to discuss about private things they have this uncared attitude | Posted: at 8-05-2012 09:51 AM (13 years ago) | Newbie | |

We all need to understand that the primary duty of any medical doctor is to do his/her possible best to save lives, yet this doctors are so nonchalant about ailing and dieing patients that they decided to go on strike leaving patients to die in the hospitals because of tax when the smallest doctor takes home on the average 300k/month. i wonder what they want from Fashola. even as a Vet doctor your passion and your loyalty is towards your animals, care for them and love them, talkless of a human medical doctor.
