a friend of mine an igbo girl, she is in love with an yoruba boy and intend to marry him but her family wouldnt allow and she insisted that she be pregnant for him.
As for me, i remain in ma culture.. one true fact, religion,racism, and tribal clash can never stop.. one way or the other, there would be differences.. i advice this your friend not to get pregnant.. people change, dynamism is the only constant thing in this big world.. the Guy she wants to kill herself over might later be the worst nightmare of her life. Advice, tell her too look for an igbo guy,get to know him the way she knew the yoruba guy and settle down.. the best thing is to end the relationship... when our parents r against our choices(in terms of taking a spouse), no need trying to prove a point to them... it has happened to 3 of my aunties.. it's not worth the trouble. The love between the 2 will fade as time goes on... pls. tell her not to think of going further with the relationship not to talk of getting pregnant. Which of the planet you come from 8 or nine?
