l am not against muslims l have them as friends that is love but salvation is stronger than feelings,sentiment or any religion if you can predict the future then ok but on the contrary i urge u think twice at d begining is always easy and sweet but when the going get though .... especially as a woman even the bible urges wives to be sumissive to their husbands you know the bible then follow what the bible say and don,t misinterprete the future or God 2corinthians 6,14 . the bible, the holy spirit and Jesus are very important in the life of a believer or a christian can you treat this issues well are u both agreeing on this the bible say two cannot stay together unless they agree pray and also hear from God b4 embarking on a journey u cannot predict the end, pls seek advice from good men of God minisyers or pastors unless u are prepare to be a muslim cos is easy for the men to marry outside because they have total control and can easily convert their wives but for their women is uncomon all such marriages l ve ever seen end up the woman becoming a muslim for me l do not advice you to move on with it is like gamble or is like an AX carrier marrying an XX who know the consequence of it yet undermind it and then is prepared to face and accept whatever comes out of it l also advice your man to see things from this angle rather than gambling the future unless he too want to be a christian for ur sake a word is enough for the wise if you don,t go inside marriage you cannot know what is inside marriage is not base on love alone there are other things that matters or count | Posted: at 18-05-2012 06:03 AM (12 years ago) | Upcoming | |

short and simple,it's okay 4 a Muslim Man 2 marry a christian woman.Christians are not considered non-believers in Islam except those who said God is three,they are considered people of book.
But is it okay for a christian man to marry a muslim woman....

However those ( Men) who plan to do so are encouraged to follow the sunnah of the Prophet (SAW). No wedding in the church as others wil want you to believe, no alcohol should be promoted as all other things which the christain faith also prohibits. It is also encouraged that only truly religious muslims are expected to try this because it is believed that they wld to able to maintain the tenets of the islamic faith even after being married to a non muslim. Furthermore, the issue of the offspring which comes later needs to be addressed so that problems wont crop in the future. Islam does believe that one's offsprings can decide on which religion to follow, cos we Muslims belif as its stated in the Holy Quran that all mankind are born Muslims and its only one's parents who influence the offspring faith.
