I am living this right now as I type. Been married for 18 years and up to now thought marriage was solid. We had little or no issues, we talk about everything, vacation, great sex (at lest I thought so), you name it and in my book we were good until I found out about her affair this past Thursday. My wife decided to visit her country of birth for 5 days. She came home from work on July 7 and told me she is extremely burnout and tired and need to take a mini vacation to recharge, I said ok, thinking it will be me and our kid, uh, was in for surprise, she said vacation is only for her because if she goes with family it won't any relaxation, so with no prior know indiscretion I just let her go on her vacation.

She went on August 21, back on August 25, picked her up at the airport, asked about her trip, "was fantastically amazing she said", ok...nothing more. Two days later, I was cleaning up the room and saw a bag of receipts where her bags were (seems like she put them together and was getting ready to flush or something and got sidetracked). I investigated and discovered several breakfasts for delivered to room. I called her on it and holy shit did she ever deny. She first said she went away alone and her girlfriend joined her  there, but gf had no name. Cut a long story short, she finally told me she had sex with her ex boyfriend from 22 years ago, only happened once (yeah). Turns my friends, she planned the vacation with him in mind. Now that I have uncovered the truth, do I walk away or stay for my kid. My kid would certainly regress is I go, I am his rock. Yes, I still have strong feelings from my wife, but don't know how to get pass this.
