Ex-President Hosni Mubarak Sentenced To Life Imprisonment

It was victory at last for the people of Egypt as their ousted president, Hosni Mubarak, was on Saturday morning sentenced to life imprisonment for corruption and involvement in last year’s killings of hundreds of protesters by security forces.

Mubarak was wheeled into the courtroom on a bed inside a cage of mesh and iron bars and was later found guilty and sentenced to life imprisonment. Mubarak’s interior minister Habib El Adly received a similar sentence.

The verdict was given in a makeshift court, a lecture hall once named after Mubarak in the police academy in Cairo, amid unprecedented security. Crowds outside the court shouted as they watched the event live on a giant screen.

Mubarak, 84, was grim-faced and silent as Presiding Judge Ahmed Refaat handed down the life sentence... Mubarak was charged with corruption and involvement in the deaths of hundreds of anti-government protesters who were demanding his exit from power.

did i hear u said the mases,, ???those mases re d worst,,during d election they wr d ones collecting one one thousand frm those thieves en vote dem inn dashin d hop en hops of their unburne chldrn to those idiots dat make them beliv dat havng a steady power suply,good roads,,nice health care system,,good en quality education is a privilage and not they right,,untill we realise this and fight for    what is rightfull ours just lik d egyptians did that must desire justice can N.E.V.E.R happen here in naija,,,we talk so much and still did nothing,,i just think it's time for action not much talk talk,,,,d egyptians did not talk much b4 getin what they wanted,,,,,,de question now is are we ready to chase all these CRAZY  bare heads out of power
