Dressing smart and modern in a confortable material and colour and looking your age does not make a high school girl a bad girl or a sex object; not even long hairs and make ups do. Deeper life dress code does not make a high shool girl a saint either. NOTE! They never demanded for mini skirts!In modern societies like Kenya, pupils and students have the right to be part of decision making processes in matters that concern them. It couldn`t have happend in a backward religiously blinded Hausa/Fulani oligarchian authritarian society like Nigeria, where political rights and civil liberties can only be dreamt of: where pupils and students are only but slaves and transposition grounds for sick idiologies by the sick society and aclectic skewed factitious proctices that circumvent queasy religions.

Let's not pick out minor issue and leave major ones missing
The girls protested for poor meals/stavation and authoritarianism in the school bureaucracy.
