I just did a research on Aircraft Black Box, these are made to survive a temperature of 1100 degrees, about 3000p pound pressure and impact of 6000g/s. So it is a lie to say such safety equipment is burnt.. You can check the specs here if you have time

In as much as i personally do not trust the Nigerian Government and/or the management of the so called "Dana Air", i would like to point out that their is likely to be a case of malfunction or even wreckage to the "Black Box", as the this also depends on the level of wreckage of the plane itself.

So we shouldn't be to quick at pointing fingers.
