The Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Akinwunmi Adesina on Friday said the government is improving the processing of local rice to make it competitive with foreign brand.

The Minister, who was a guest on Channels Television’s breakfast show, Sunrise Daily, said the government has already taken steps to cut down the importation of rice in order to promote local production.

To be sincere i love naija native rice the one with sand and it's kinda short n round in sharp Grin Grin Grin Just try with palm oil and ibat then add nchawun to it.

dat was during d time of Adam and Eve................children of dis generation no like dat kain suffer............. at least not when dem dey eat wey suppose be enjoyment

Naija rice is the best. But uncle ben top them all. I use to put a little Maggi in my boiling rice. Oh taste so deli-deli

there is element of truth in his word,i have confirm it,it is only rice for thailand that can compete with of nigeria
