never thought i'd ever be arguing this,but here goes...
so i saw a comment on one of the confession pages about women not supposed to do ANY sorta chores, they're pretty much supposed to just sit around while the men bust their butts off working.I'll copy n paste n excerpt from the comment so y'all can get the idea.
"So don't you(men) have your own hands to cook the meals?..why must you depend on a female to do that for you?,..We are made to make men complete and not serve them..Our daily routines are shopping, getting our hairs n nails done..getting massaged and visiting weekly spa salons...and you as men, are supposed to make sure that those things are taken cared of on a regular base, so instead of asking whats for dinner..ask how did the day at the mall..or the spa went?.."
may sound like a joke but the girl was pretty darn serious.Just need to know if all y'all ladies think like this, and if the fellas are a'ight with this sorta thing.Over to y'all...
humm , i wonder what the world is turning into now...maybe its time we stop our African ladies living abroad too long,haba.. how can a normal woman say all that? its 2 way thing, if she cannot cook for me, and want to go about her so called daily routine, sure she must be working and earning money to do that, aint gonna give a penny to her.. if she finds time to cook for me, sure i'll take care of that......

I just think it's wrong to distribute roles, everyone has to be flexible in a relationship in case u need to adapt to a situation, and not turn urself into an automated husband. He wakes up in the morning, his wife brings him breakfast in bed, wipe his bum for him, she dress up the kids, she drives down to work. After a long day at work, picks up the children from school, she speeds home to cook for 'THE HUSBAND', she helps the kids with their home work. Husband comes back from work, he has his freshly prepared meal, sits down in front of the TV to watch football and read newspaper. Wife heads back to the kicthen to clean up, do the laundry and put the kids to bed. At this stage the wife is worn out. The cycle continues the following day. If your Hubby can cope, fine.. But such thing wont work for me, never. i cant cook, why shld i marry a woman that cannot, even if i can, its for her to cook for me.. and that does not implies i turned her into a slave. dude are high??? i'm sick of men talking about a woman's responsiblities.. All they want is a woman who cooks, clean stay at home and make babies... WAKE UP..this is not the time of your parents and grandparents... if a woman dosen't like cooking why the hell should you force her??? or don't you have hands to enter the kitchen and cook 4 yourself???
