AWKA- IT was harvest of deaths in the Anambra State capital Thursday as four persons were feared dead when a trailer rammed into five other vehicles at the popular Nnamdi Azikiwe University junction, while an Okada rider was killed by armed robbers as he was going home.

Those killed when the driver of the trailer lost control, were street hawkers operating at the ever busy spot where heavy construction is going on.

Those injured during the accident were taken to the nearby hospital for treatment by men of the Federal Road Safety Commission, FRSC, who also deposited the dead bodies in the mortuary. Other security operatives later joined FRSC in controlling traffic in the area.
