Well in America there's so many definitions of Gau. Besides the actual definition of dating the same sex. A man can be called gay just becuz he chose to wear a certain item of clothing even if it was just shorts or trousers per say.  A man can just hug a guy to be nice and be called gay. Since when is hugging the same sex gay. But if a woman hugged another woman itll be no problem.  "double standards" and a someone can also be called gay if they laughed a certain way. the phrase "that's gay" is used like it's nothing nowadays in the west
