Na y'all see more reasons why  some of the youth in Benin beat up the teacher who flogged the princess and got injured...when some of y'all were saying the Oba should take her home and be teaching her....since he dose not want his grand child to be corrected....nonsense people...anyway....this teacher needs to be flog too...

Some of these comments are so idiotic! It has been proven that corporal punishment should only be administered by the PARENTS of the child or can be easily abused. If your child or brother or sister died after being flogged by a teacher would your comments in support of flogging by teachers be the same? It is unfortunate that the young generation that is supposed to vehemently oppose this kind of babaric behavior is in support of it. Nigeria in on the brink. Times have changes and there needs to be a more modern ways of doing things. Flogging children in school should really be abolished. Thats why I love the abroad system of education, they give their students detention instead of corpal punishment. In the course of detention, the students also learn virtues……If youre child has mis behaved they inform the parents and the parent will have the power to flog and punish their OWN CHILD. Teachers are paid  to teach not not beat.
