:)Some appreciate while some don't gifts. The Ajibbo appreciate gift bcos the have the money and the ajipako don't appreciate bcos they prefer the money than the gift to solve the urgent needs.

Real girls understand d meaning of flowers.Poverty-stricken minds of our naija babes have turned their attention 2 oda things lyk jewelleries, clothes, phones or even mere rechargecards as a preference 4 gifts during celeb

i totally disagree with u that it poverty the first question we ask ourselves is,re all this things our culture?it not and secondly is our weather good for flowers which we all knw it not so why giving me what will not last, has for me i dnt really like flowers i like cards, poem, teddy bear etc than flower.

Flower or roses is not part of our culture, from my own observation many Nigerian Girls would prefer Cash or taking them out or buying them present. It would be very difficult to find a Lady who would honestly say that She is satisfied if her man buys her Flowers alone.....

Let's be frank to ourselves. Our girls do not see it as anything. In Nigeria, ladies consider flower as a gift to b place on the tomb.
