D'Banj Emerges Top Winner In Channel'O Awards 2012

The 9th annual Channel O Music Video Awards took place on Saturday, November 17 at Walter Sisulu Square in Kliptown, South Africa and was hosted by Ice Prince and South African media personality, Bonang Matheba.

Thirteen Nigerian artists were nominated in various categories including; Tuface, D'banj, P-Square, Wizkid, Wande Coal, Davido, Mo'Cheddah, Brymo, Orezi, Flavour, Tiwa Savage, Naeto C and Ice Prince.

In his acceptance speech, D'Banj said: "A big thank you to Africa, make some noise and put your hands up if you believe it is our time to shine."

D'Banj stole the show with a performance of his hit song 'Oliver Twist'.
