I'm Building PDP, Not Tearing it Apart - Wike Addresses The Press (Video)

Nyesom Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, has insisted the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, cannot give their presidential ticket to the North ahead of the 2027 election.

Wike stated this during a media chat on Monday.

His comments appeared to be directed to PDP’s presidential candidate in the 2023 election, Atiku Abubakar.

Wike said: “PDP cannot give the presidential ticket to the North (in 2027).

“Selfishness can kill a system.

“For example, if Mr President runs and wins in 2027, by 2031 APC will send their presidential ticket to the North.

“PDP will do what then? You will come back then and say since APC is sending it to the North, we should follow them and give it to the North?”

Although i dont like his arrogance but he spoke the truth here atiku's ambition  is the problem with the pdp. They believe only atiku can win it for them. But those who know the truth know that constitutionally atiku cant be president it says clearly that you cant be president if your own grandparents were not nigerians at the time of independence
