According to the statement, a former Federal Commissioner of Information and an elder statesman, Edwin Clark, will also be conferred with a similar award in recognition of his contributions in his fields of endeavour.

Also, the statement said Mr. Clark was pivotal to the upgrading of the polytechnic to its present status: “His immense contribution to the upgrading of the Midwest Technical College to Auchi Polytechnic made it what it is today… Chief Clark has also contributed greatly to education development of the country as a teacher and commissioner,” it noted. It said the the occasion would also be used to honour a former Minister of Education, Aishetu Dukku.

Different nations will do anything to get their hands on our mineral resources - especially our oil!

We've already sold our nationhood to China - now South Korea want something.

Its either that or they want to let North Korea know that they too can be friends with Nigeria. After all thay are aware Nigeria has buisness deals with North Korea which I am sure they are not happy about. So to get Nigeria on side they give a doctorate to someone who cannot distinguish between "killing yourself" and "suicide!"

This is a case of South Korea vs North Korea - and Nigeria being caught up in the middle!
