Oh no... this is animal cruelty. the cat is not a human being that this fools must take pleasure in detaining it. how can you detain a mere animal that can not defend itself in court? the best way to solve this mystery is to set the cat free and trace it to the house it goes to. the poor cat in such a panic and traumatic state will definitely run home. so the authorities can easily find out which of the prisoner's lives there. once they are able to determine the owner of the cat, that prisoner must be giving additional sentence. Case Closed!!
