The Internet is a collection of interconnected computer networks to serve billions of users worldwide. It is a network of networks that consists of millions of private, public, academic, business, and government networks, of local to global scope, that are linked by a broad array of electronic, wireless and optical networking technologies.



This is a sortable list of countries by number of Internet users in 2011, mostly. Internet users are persons using the Internet from any device (including mobile phones) in the last 12 months. Estimates are derived from either household surveys or from Internet subscription data.

The following are the list of top 10 Internet users.

4) Japan
5) Brazil
6) Germany
7) Russia
8 ) United Kingdom

10) Nigeria
