In this present Christian age many people call themselves Christian without knowing what the word Christian means. The word Christian simply means Christ Like, but some of us are trying to civilize the truth in the word of God today, been born again is not when you confess Jesus as your personal Lord and savior, but when you work in his commandments, i over heard this poster saying that Christian believe in nothing but what is writing in the bible. Yes we believe in nothing but what is writing in the bible, because is a commandment and not a choice, so stop trying to trivialize the truth, if your Pastor is threatening you everyday about hell, then live to expectation of heaven, because to make heaven is simple. Brother i believe this one truth you don't want to hear. Hell is real. Don't be a victim Jesus is calling you today. Is time to carry your own cross, no one will do that for you. so no matter how you try to civilize the truth about the of God, remember the grass wither away but the word of God stands forever. This is my advise to this perfect Christian.

Dear poster,

No, I do not agree.

Number One – They claim to know and understand everything.
-True Christians do NOT know everything  nor claim to in words or actions.  But that is not to say that some do not get so excited in helping others that they step into error or push abit hard. Let us never forget there are SOOOO many professing to be Christians when they are NOT. As well there is a faulty worldview that Christians are perfect when it is not so.  Christians are perfect as in COMPLETE mind-body-spirit but Christians are not perfect people.

Number Two – They believe that their ideas and perception of things is the absolute truth and any other contrary opinion is garbage.
-It is God that knows and sees all and God does speak to those that are his own.  It is God's words and truths that are absolute and true Christians STRIVE to share God's truth in love.

Number Three – They have a very poor dressing habit.
-Oookkk...this may be true of some.  I'm guessing this is mainly directed towards Christian women???  Christians are to look different and with women stealing the look of little girl's fashion (I say) all in the name fulfilling their low self-esteem and emptiness by throwing their assets out to the whole world...and some women do dress extremely opposite of this look.  Even, some just view clothes as clothes and not a fashion statement, status symbol or etc.  BUT not ALL have poor dressing habits.

Number Four – They hardly accept people the way they are. Always looking for who to change to become like them by fire by force.
-If you see something draining the life out of a person and you know what can help them....if you really care about the person, you help them yes?  By force, it is not suppose to be because God himself does not force any of us...it has to be the person's own choice.

Number Five – They use the name of God to blackmail people. By this I mean trying to persuade you to do what you don’t want to do in the name of doing it for God.
-I don't agree telling someone the best God wants for them and what happens when certain choices are made is blackmail.  We have to tell the person the truth and they make their own decision.  Some people do things that hurt them or others, shouldn't God say something if he loves us so much?  Yes, and he does in his word, the Bible and he speaks through his people.

Number Six – They pretend a lot.
-REAL Christians do not pretend but it may look like it to those who do not understand.  If there is someone who just became a Christian, and at work he use to use bad words and have a hot temper but now he stops.  He slacks on reading his Bible and some of his bad habits return.  At work, something happens and he allows himself to get angry...he uses bads words and shouts the person head off.  Afterwards he apologizes to the person and at lunch he is reading his Bible.  When most see him they will say he is pretending and so many other things, when in fact the person is in a serious struggle.  Some people do get confused because of what they have been taught or the life they were living before-somethings will have to be worked out and will take time. There are those who are not Christians at all and pretend, so all else will be pretend too. 

Number Seven – They hardly make use of their natural instincts or thinking faculty. To them, nothing is true except it is written in the bible.
-THIS ONE definitely not true.  We are to TEST all things which means we are not to just accept something because it looks, feel
 or sound good.  Many wish to believe that sin is fun and having good times but the fun won't last and Christians know this.  God's word is the highest intelligence and Christians know this too.

Number Eight – They focus more on threatening people with the existence of hell fire instead of advising them on how to lead a better life.
-Because many do leave out this in our time, some may put it out in an offensive way.  Christians are suppose to share the truth and God knows us already, so it is better always to take advise from him in what to share with another because God knows where the person's heart is.  Jesus is life and the one who makes us complete mind-body-spirit, so that we can have a relationship with God who is spirit.  Accepting God's free gift through Jesus Christ is the first step to leading a good life.
