8. Statistics are a girl… or guy’s worst friend. You open the paper and all you see is, 21 Millionaires before 21, 35 under 35, 18 to look out for and so on.
You may start to panic that maybe you would miss a window because of your age
7. Sadly, you could miss some.
Job specifications come with age restrictions, even auditions have age limits. You’re either too old or too young. You are rarely, the right age.
6. Younger people think older ones are silly, outdated and too cautious. They want to quickly put them out to pasture.
They forget that unless you are Benjamin Button, no one grows younger and soon, they will be the silly, outdated and cautious ones. At least to a younger generation.
5. Older people think the younger ones are irresponsible, carefree and silly. They forget who raised them.
4. The older you get, the more you realise your parents and all the advice you got growing up really were right. Sadly, some realise that too late.
3. Each age set comes with more responsibilities and fewer excuses. You hear a lot of, ‘Let it go, he is just a teenager’ or ‘She is just enjoying being 20′. Ever heard, ‘Forgive him, he’s 40′ or ‘That’s how 50 year olds behave’? I haven’t.
2. There’s always a difference between how old you are, how old you feel, and how society expects you to look, feel and behave at that point. 15 year olds should be seen not heard, 40 year olds should not be trying to start over…. bla la la
1. I’d say, love who you are, whatever age you are and enjoy every bit of it. You can’t get it back
