The case was said to have been reported to the Divisional Police Officer in charge of Saki Division, Mohammed Suleiman Baba, a Superintendent of Police, by Medina’s father when the news started circulating across Saki town and turned into a huge embarrassment for the lady’s family.
Crime Reports learnt that Onifade, a Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps member serving at the Oyo State command, started a love affair with the married woman about four years ago. The ‘couple’ was said to have been so overtaken with love so much that they were almost inseparable and always found time to be together in their love nest at Bristhood Hotel, Saki.
However, it got to a time the centre could no longer hold for the lovers and Medina decided to opt out of the relationship. This reportedly did not go down well with Onifade who was alleged to have resorted to blackmail, threatening to reveal to the whole world, the Nood pictures of his lover which were taken in the heat of passion.
In the pictures which were also made available to Crime Reports, there was part of the private area of the woman that was spared from being exposed to the world. There was even a particular one where her thighs were spread and the entire make-up of her vulva could be seen clearly. It was pure obscenity.
The pictures were said to have infuriated Medina’s husband’s family and they ordered her out of their son’s home on April 20. Though she initially went back to her parents’ house, Medina was said to have vacated the town with her two children due to the shame she was feeling about her circulated Nood pictures.
Medina’s husband reportedly got wind of her love affair with Onifade, and was said to have once pursued the lover boy when he got information that Onifade had picked his wife with an okada and was taken her to their love nest. The man was said to have dealt with Onifade but he reportedly went to Saki police station to report a case of assault, without disclosing his relationship with the man’s wife.
“It is true that I showed her the picture. I also showed her husband but I later deleted them. I was not the one who posted the pictures on the internet. If there is a way they can use technology to detect the person who posted them on the internet, then I would be vindicated.”
