He Does Not Want A Court Wedding

I have been dating this guy and the whole wedding preparation is in full gear, but another side of him is showing now. The bone of contention here is that I want a court wedding and he saying we won't have one. Fine, what are your reasons? I asked him. And he said because he's human and if he impregnates someone else, that means the child won't have a right to his property.

In fact I was shocked and dumbfounded by his reason as I don't think he ever puts me into consideration. My family is richer than his so which property am I coming after? I'm so confused right now and i have been asking myself if he truly loves me.

Do i go ahead with our marriage plans or should i tell my parents to put a stop to our marriage planning preparations? Does he care about me? Will my agreeing not to have a court wedding put my future at stake as it seems I won't be a priority even as his wife? Please its very urgent. Wedding day approaching, need to make a decision fast. Please I don't want to make a mistake because I don't have much experience relationship wise

i will not advice you to leave him.what is court wedding.it is western life wedding.let God union you than court.God knew best. Doing court wedding does not make you stay and live long together.

Court wedding is not our culture.Women that insists on Court wedding are women that cannot submit to their husband as written in the Bible,you want Court wedding because you know you will misbehave in the future,so that your husband will have to be forced to share his properties with you if he decides to end the marriage when you misbehave.The question is,do you really love him??.If you do,you will not be asking for Court wedding.Meanwhile your parents wealth is not a factor here,you just mentioned it because you want to brag about it.

The two of you are causing trouble for yourslves, two questions only, you both should try answering.

1. Why do you want court wedding in addition

2. Why does he not want court wedding in addition

The answer is clear, the two of you are planning secure future game, meaning, just in case something happens, who will own what.

Sincere advice, i think you should insist you want court wedding, if he is plain why does he not want it and if you are plain, why do you want it.

I think you should insist, there is too much at game stake

And i think he is not interpreting the law correctly, but besides, after marrying you why will he impregnate another, is there a plan like that at play.

His reasoning for refusing a court wedding is arrogant,selfish,suspicious though unfortunately wrong.(no type of wedding deprive
your children of their inheritance).  put your feet down or push him off the wagon only if the two of you had earlier agreed on
that type of wedding.

My dear, insist on a court wedding, trust me thats the only wedding recognized by law anywhere in d world that can give you peace of mind that no stupid relatives will struggle over ur properties with ur children should anything happen to you or ur husband. Run from any guy that refuses to do a court wedding with you, a word, they say, is enough for the wise!
