u must be foolish for saying 9ice baba is wrong. a country that has no law has no crime... do u think there is law in this country?
the reason i'm saying this is bcos even our so called leaders do disobey traffic rules... the police is mad.let them wound him and the country will see "eye confraternity" in massive action....lekeleke till i die

These has been a wonderful discussion but personally I don't trust policemen. So the best bet is to stay out of trouble so as not to have any form of confrontation or dealings with them. They (cops) are same every where. NY policemen shot Sean Bell 50 times and got away with it. (http://www.nytimes.com/2008/04/27/nyregion/27bell.html). Also I believe in my heart that the late rapper 2pac was shot by the cops. So my advice is to stay out of their way and obey their laws and you'd be fine.

Man, that's really crazy, What traffic law can he possibly break in bariga, narrow roads, potholes, constant hold ups........ so how did he speed so much they had to shoot his tyre to stop him? So, even if he did break a law, how does shooting his tyre or beating up solve that! Naija Police is just Shit.......... that's what i think, most of them are school cert. holders who cudn't even make five passes................ so really i don't expect anything better from them.

I know the reason why 9ice did want to stop becos he knows, they are going to ask him for money or else is not going anywhere and it's not everyday you collect money from somebody but the police would never want to to know anything about that they would always want to collect money all the time they are thieves lets say the true.

The Police did a very good job for arresting a traffic law breaker and did very bad by brutalizing him but nobody know what went wrong before the brutalitybut nomatter what went wrong, the police does not has the right to brutalize any body sake of say he beat the traffic.The Police make arrest and the court punish. People no matter their position, influence or popularity in this country should learn to obey traffic laws. It will help us a great deal. I hope we will hear more police arresting traffic law offenders in future but they should not be brutalize please. I give kudos to the team that arrested him. Keep it up.

 Shocked am sooooo shocked that all those who thot the nigerian police are doing thier job y`all are just dump or y`all are acting dump and stupid. We all know that men of the under world dress like policemen and for crying out loud policemen are thiefs in uniforms. 9nice did the right thing by running the way he ran off at least we all know that 2face was robbed by some men who wore police uniforms i was robbed too on the 3rd mainland bridge by some men i thot were policemen. 9NICE PLS SUE THOSE STUPID POLICE MEN AND MAKE THEM PAY THRU THEIR ASS.

Why should Nigerian police beat a celebrity like 9ice and after beating him was again arrested infact those policemen are suppose to be sued to court and be sentence to life imprisonment and to look at the matter it might be a minor thing he did, those police just phyuked up for arresting him well na one of those things but still one love to 9ice cos he is the main guy one loooooooooooooooooovvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvveeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.

i blame both the police and Nice for gross act of irresponsibilty....i mean 9ice shouldnt hv runaway wen asked to stop..knowing fully well the type of country we are in and how our police operate here....he just played an expensive joke wit his life..anyways am happy nothing happened to him and as for the police...they shld try to realise and emulate other countries.they are quick to shooting here and it is so so wrong!!!!

I blame the police cuz they had the force over him, and as far as i'm concerned..once someone is handcuffed, they're unable to do any harm to anyone and therefore should not be handled in a violent manner.
