According to the Associated Press, below is what Pope Francis said when quizzed about gay priests during his transatlantic flight home following a week-long trip to Brazil...
"Pope Francis reached out to gays on Monday, saying he wouldn’t judge priests for their segxwal orientation.... "If someone is gay and he searches for the Lord and has good will, who am I to judge?" Francis asked.
Below is a longer version (and slightly different translation) of the Pope's quote via NCR:
"When I meet a gay person, I have to distinguish between their being gay and being part of a lobby. If they accept the Lord and have good will, who am I to judge them? They shouldn’t be marginalized. The tendency [to homosegxwality] is not the problem...they’re our brothers.”

As a pope u ar not to judge but to condemn the despicable act.As human we should not hate people bot hate their character and actions.Being a gay is bad n should be condemn outrightly.

Would God endorse us killing people because of their segxwality - I doubt it!
God would condemn the act - like he did with the woman caught in the act of adultery. Unlike the the story of some months back where a man and woman were caught trying to commit adultery and the village people in all their 'righteousness' force them to commit the act! Who do we think is more likely to be condemned? Should we not turn people away from sin?
I do not support homosegxwalism (let's drop the painted word 'gay') but I will not have people beaten up or killed because of their segxwality.
Like the God I worship I am not homophobic! I love all people even those who hate me because I am black!
