When Lawrence Yahle, 17, arrived at the Kettering Medical Center in Ohio at the beginning of August, his dad, Anthony Yahle, had just been pronounced dead.
According to reports he shouted, “Dad, you’re not going to die today.” Lo and behold, the 37-year-old’s heart monitor started to gradually show signs of life — at the rate of a couple of beats per minute. Doctors were stunned and began to resuscitate him, effectively bringing him back to life. Not in a spooky, “Evil Dead” way, but in a totally healthy, back-to-work-next-week way.
