Forbidding the left hand

Hi,

I want to put forward a question which bothers me, right from where i was a kid i have seen situations whereby people reject something when it is being given to them with the left hand.

Is there anywhere in the Bible or Qur'an where it is forbidden to accept thing with the left hand or give out with the left hand?

If it is not in the Holy books then what is the wisdom behind people rejecting left hand without no good reason

It is just about culture n we need to learn to respect it.

dis impression has been creatd in our minds right from childhood,that u have 2 do things with ur right hands.

i use 2 have a friend dat rights very well with his left hand,bt his parents used flogging 2 correct it to "right".

maybe,bcos we were on "right hand drive"then ,dats y,but now dat we r on "left hand drive",y cant they start flogging everybody to use LEFT HANDS.

nothing do u,my broda.na good topic b dis.BIGUP!

Well the left hand thing is just a reflection of cerebral dominance.People who are left handed are most likely to be more in touch with the right hemisphere of their brain or use it more well according to pop psychology.Dis left hand thing forcing people to use hands they are not naturally inclined to is wrong.I believe it impairs cognitive ability when you force a person out of his inclination.Well it's not biblical cus there are some heroes in the bible that use their left hand one is Ehud. so dis left hand thing is totally floss.

i know in some cultures (india,indonasia and many other cultures) the left hand is seen as dirty, it should not be used to eat, doing so would be considered rude or impolite, when a person hands u stuff using their left hand its apparently considered cursed or something, in old France people that greeted or used their left hand were considered witches, i guess different people, different cultures and different beliefs.
