Malam Rabi’u Ibrahim, the Permanent Secretary, sttae Ministry for Works and Housing and an official of Federal Roads Maintenance Agency (FERMA) had visited the scene to assess the damage.

Where were all these people before the bridge collapsed or didn't they know what maintenance means. It's only in Nigeria that leaders/ministers prefer cure to prevention.
