There was fracas in the house of Chief Arthur Eze, one of the financiers of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, in Anambra State on Saturday.

Eze is one of the backers of of Tony Nwoye, the PDP governorship candidate in Anambra State.

As more than a thousand residents in Dunukofia local government area trooped into the billionaire’s house, frustration rose to the peak as the wait lasted for hours.

When the rich PDP man finally arrived at his house after touring some polling units, expectations rose high.

But the wait continued with only fewer people going in. A clash between police officers and a PDP sympathiser broke out.

He was battered to a pulp and blood covered his face.

It shouldn't be, that it what poverty has turned it to in this country, and people keep killing themselves for some fools that will even forget them once they get what they want.
