We may ever consider the rumors of the president's inebriations if it comes from valid and unbiased sources,  Sahara reporters is the podium for mouth pieces of the northern political opposition, and the sworn implacable enemies of the president,  they've always been on the attack against the presidency and against southern politicians, most of their news and editorials about the presidency and southern politicians are not testable and consequently should be ignored .

While the strident pharisaical voice of Sahara reporters are echoing all over the country about the ills of others ,it has ignored massive corruption going on under it's very nose , One may wonder in the face of the menace of Bokoharam insurgency and the mass killings of other ethnic groups and Christians in the north, Sahara reporters have been curiously quiet .

If Sahara reporters are true to the ilk of their profession which is to wield truth without fear or favor in the defense of freedom and integrity in the nebulous haze of Nigerian politics , why ignore the weekly truckloads of illegal arms flowing in to the north from the Islamic Maghreb of North Africa ??

The President’s special adviser on media, Dr. Reuben Abati, in a press statement today, expressed regrets that despite the open admittance of the president’s ill health in London, some online organs went ahead to make what he called ” scurrilous distortions of the facts of the President’s indisposition”.

“The truth”, said Abati, ” is that President Jonathan observed his 56th birthday anniversary quietly. For part of the day, he was airborne, in transit between Abuja and London. On arrival in London, he spent the rest of the day in the privacy of his hotel room. It has never been his custom to celebrate birthday anniversaries and no exception was made this year. No birthday party was therefore held for the President in London”.

The statement accused Sahara Reporters and “some other reckless, lawless, impudent and unpatriotic internet-based media of cooking up the ” entirely fictional, malicious, hate-driven and scurrilous distortion of the facts of the President’s indisposition.

The statement does not rule out legal action against the peddlers of the false report.

“As unregulated as they are, Sahara Reporters and their ilk are not beyond the bounds of legal action for libel and willful defamation of the character and reputation of a President who has courageously stepped forward to serve his country. They know very well that they can never substantiate or prove the constant false allegations and innuendoes they publish for the sole purpose of negatively portraying President Jonathan and his administration.

“Their incessant claim of a bibulous President is pure fiction and blackmail, and the product of malicious imagination. We warn that our forbearance of their disrespectful caricaturing of the President is not limitless.

But the statement condemned “the utterly irresponsible, deplorable, highly unprofessional and unethical antics of certain fringe elements operating in the nebulous sphere of cyberspace who persist in seizing every opportunity to unjustifiably malign and impugn the character and integrity of the elected leader of their country.”

Reason with me here, its not all about the Uncle Joe, but ANAMBRA,ANAMBRA  STATE, again, again, this state is disgracing the rest of the Ibo states with there way of doing and handling things, how state elections be conducted like kindergarten lesson? very very immature and ridiculed.so many different areas of Anambra State witnessed late deliveries election materials, despite the fact that there was a secured total stop of traffics, water tight security beef ups, in plain clothes everywhere, all naboring state borders closed, still there was a lot election fiffles and rigs, what a shame? as big as Anambra states, which Ibos were proud of, is now belittled and made self disgrace. a state where as big as Governor could tied and caned lashes, what a shame, by the way, why are we Ibos? why are we no longer Ibos we used to be? we were once unique from others, without been told you as an Ibo could ask yourself, but today, those whom we first started running a race? are no longer the winners.
Now ask yourself this question, if say for example the IBO tribe partition out from Nigeria, what do you think will happen among us the Ibos? when we are always on logger ahead and headlocks, claiming superiority among ourselves Ibos, who is rich and who educated and who poor among ourselves, what a shame. our weak points have been greed and intimidations, when it like this in Anambra State, with almost every year unsuccessful elections, how can we stand as Ibos? remember that UNITED WE STAND AND DIVIDED WE FALL. You break a stick of broom but the bunch is unbreakable.
A plain truth is always nurtured by conscience, by Dr Phil, my truth will not kill me in Jesus name.
