Christians: Do You Believe in Speaking in Tongues? (Page 4)

Those who lives within LIES living with the words of the DEVIL are known as CHRISTIANS. They shall always speak in UNKNOWN TONGUES because they are DARKNESS. This UNKNOWN TONGUES is what Apostle Paul lives with and gives unto those who worship the Beast and his image.

They will never know what they are saying and even when they are using Acts 2 they are liars just like PETER who denied Jesus of Nazareth/Galilee and came preaching the same. Acting as if he knew what the persons were saying he never know. Everyone understand according to their LANGUAGES because it was the tongue that was given unto them to give their TESTIMONY. So it goes to show that it was not UNKNOWN TONGUE unto those who were hearing them as what is being PRACTICING in the Charismatic churches belonging unto Satan.

This is what happen in Acts 2 as reported by the witness "And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance. And there were dwelling at Jerusalem Jews, devout men, out of every nation under heaven. Now when this was noised abroad, the multitude came together, and were confounded, because that every man heard them speak in his own language.And they were all amazed and marvelled, saying one to another, Behold, are not all these which speak Galilaeans? And how hear we every man in our own tongue, wherein we were born?"

Persons were able to UNDERSTAND what is being spoken according to the witness. But those who are speaking in UNKNOWN TONGUE no one understand not even themselves what they are saying.Apostle Paul who told them about the UNKNOWN TONGUE let them to know that they are speaking unto GOD where it is the SPIRIT doing this for them. They should seek to find out which part of the SPIRIT is doing this because the Spirit of God have TWO unto it, LIGHT and DARKNESS. We learn that the LIGHT was amongst and the Darkness couldn't comprehend it.

So whenever the LIGHT COMES amongst the darkness enter within its UNKNOWN TONGUE because it cannot comprehend what is happening. The charismatic churches force persons to speak in TONGUES some even trained them.

God is a SPIRIT with two parts unto Him and to have the belonging unto the HOLY GHOST where persons shall UNDERSTAND you,  you must BELIEVE in the Name of the Only Begotten Son "He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;"

Unknown Tongues are devils and those who practice it worship the Beast and his Image. Hugs

Only God knows the true believers.  1 of my igbooo spoker cousin from the north started seeking in tongue just after 5 weeks in lagos....    cherubuamokolasantori  yemookokomarakaka.

please note that what we call tongues is simply language. ability to speak ina language that you do not already know that is by means of that preaching to others note even praying. The event at pentecost shows tthat men and women who came from different regions for the celebration were spoken to in their different tongus as they became astounded at that possibility. Its os fake and unreal when people blab today and make noise and decieve even their own self saying they are speaking in toungues whn they themselves dont even know what they are saying. GOD HELP US - FORGET ALL THESE PASTORS AND PRAY AND READ YOUR BIBLE - THERE IS NOTHING SPECIAL ABOUT THEM COS WE ARE ALL CHILDREN OF GOD IF YOU DEVOTE YOURSELF TO HIS WORD

Yes, I believe in speaking in tongues.  It is a spiritual gift but unfortunately it is being perverted and abused by many.

There are many accounts in the Bible of those speaking in tongues who belonged to God and there are accounts in the Bible where many have not spoken in tongues and still belonged to God.  It is not speaking in tongues that saves us, it is Jesus Christ who saves us.

The way I understand it is that we are encouraged to ask for the gift of speaking in tongues but it should not be forced. It is a very good thing to have our spirit pray to God when we do not know how, when, what or why yet, but when praying in tongues privately, we are to pray for interpretation.  Regarding the church, anything spoken in tongues is suppose to have a translation.

When I was gave my life to Jesus Christ at a revival, I also received the baptism of the Holy Spirit the same evening and spoke in tongues.
Because of the abuses in the church and concern of something demonic trying to creep in...for long, I have not spoken in tongues nor did I ask to.

There was one time where I am very sure God wanted to give me the gift.  It was at the end of a Bible Study and the pastor was praying for us and I was saying thank you Jesus. Then, I felt the presence of the Holy Spirit and he began saying to my spirit....say something say something.  BUT, I said I need more time-I need more time. And, God has given me more time. 
Tongues is a spiritual gift that is given but we have to receive and give utterance. 

There is a caution because there is a great deception as the poster says and satan tries to pervert this spiritual gift and use it to cause confusion.

I have since told God I am ready to accept any and every gift from HIM only because I have learned more about the real gift and its purpose privately and publicly since.
When we are living on the front lines of spiritual warfare, many things are happening in the spiritual realm and some of these things are demonic involving witchcraft and it only takes a simple command through prayer in Jesus' name to break, cancel and destroy the works and influence of the devil. 

When our spirit prays to God for us....every single thing is covered in Jesus name.  We sometimes get in our own way and even when God tells us to pray or do, we don't always listen.
