The first set of made in Nigeria, 4x4 SUVs will be ready come April 2014, the Chief Executive Officer of Nissan Motors has disclosed. He said this to President Jonathan at the on-going World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland. According to him, it is possible to make two to three million cars annually in Nigeria for Nigerians. For now, the SUVs are being made at the old Volkswagen Assembly plant in Lagos, but he said, Nissan would soon build its own production plant for this to work out effectively.
