‘If the mouth does not speak, who will know?’ So goes an igbo adage. Thus, Amobi Nwigwe, a People’s Democratic Party (PDP) top brass in Enugu State is insisting that Governor Sullivan Chime has been able to woo the opposition politicians in Enugu through integrating the forum of elders in the state.

In a chat with the Daily Sun, Nwigwe who is also a Barrister at Law and a member of the Enugu State Scholarship Board (ESSB), maintained that Chime on resumption of office has been able to carry everybody along regardless of party choices.

According to him “Chime gave peace a chance by bringing most of the people who were supposed to be in the opposition together. These were the elder statesmen, the former Governors like Chiefs Jim Nwobodo, , Ken Nnamani , the late elder Statesman, Christian Onoh and others.
