Shots Fired!!! Popular Kenyan DJ Says A Nigerian Actor Will Never Win The Oscars

Sammy Muraya aka Dj Mo who is a popular Dj in Kenya has come at actors in the Nigerian movie industry by saying they will "NEVER WIN AN OSCAR" in a meme.

This comes following Lupita Nyong'o winning in the category for Best Supporting Actress at the 2013 Academy Awards "Oscars" held on Sunday.



The meme reportedly shared by Dj Mo, features a picture still from a Nollywood home video which has obviously got issues with casting as two grown folks (pictured below) dressed in school uniforms are taken to school (high school o suppose) by their mother. While this attempt to ridicule the movies coming out of Nigeria might seem quite funny on one level and actually does have a valid point with regards to casting, it also goes to show that Muraya watches a lot of low budget/straight to VCD Nigerian movies instead of the real good movies.

 na true talk. why we nigerians dont like the truth? thats why we are still backward.  take a look at the picture in that movie, the daughter is older than the mother the son also. so tell me what are they trying to teach us in that movie? can any one tell me? are they making  the movie for nigerians alone? do you people remember jayesimi by Ogunde, it was a movie that the whole world talked about then. but the movies they make now days are totally rubbish. if we dont have  free movie channels on youtube i trust nigerians they will never waste their money buying those movies. Rigina Askia went to America trying to break through hollywood they told her that her standard of acting was too low for them. how do you want to compare mercy johnson to lupita, or jenevive or omotola? they are over rated in nigeria thats why they still remain where they are. we have two actresses and two actors that are well know all over the world if you dont know it now.  Lizzy Benson, Joke Silva, Olu Jacob and pete edochie. all those actresses we see in all movies, collect five hundred thousand naira thats why they appear in many movies because the are cheap. when Mercy Johnson requested for just 1million  we all know what happened. lupita is a brand now she has broken into hollywood. iam happy for her, also proud of her. every movie directors want her in their movies now, all the best fashion designers want her to wear their clothing. she is the best in africa for now take it or live it.
