R&B crooner Frank Ocean recently got embroiled in a feud with major, fast food chain Chipotle!
The star had agreed to record a song for a campaign Chipotle was running a while back and they were so happy to have him on board that they immediately made an advance payment of over $200 000. However it would seem that the brand misrepresented their intentions as Ocean’s camp claims that the campaign was meant to be geared at promoting awareness about responsible farming practices.
When unfinished masters were brought to Oceans attention he immediately pulled out of the deal having realized that the visuals were covered in Chipotle branding and were intended to advertise their brand. Chipotle immediately sued but while Ocean had no problem paying the full sum he certainly has something to say to the business. Here’s the cheque
