Femi Fani-Kayode dumps APC, says Jonathan is a responsible leader

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and former Aviation Minister, Femi Fani-Kayode, says he has just realised that President Goodluck Jonathan is a responsible leader.

The former minister was at the Presidential Villa in Abuja today to meet with Jonathan.

Addressing State House journalists after the closed door meeting, Fani-Kayode said he would never agree to the alleged plan by the APC to field two Muslims as presidential candidate and running mate for the 2015 general elections.

He said though he had been a critic of Jonathan’s administration, there was nothing wrong in resolving “issues” with the president.

Fani-Kayode later headed for the Office of the Chief of Staff to the president, Daily Trust reported

Dear Mr. Femi,

I am always glad when a man realize truth and come out to say it. You have shown discipline and maturity in your assessment. I do hope that you have told us all that motivated you to dump APC  if indeed if you have... May the Lord bless you even as you continue to contribute to your father's land development.
