Why do women gossip?

I hav noticed dat anytime..i bumb into a group of ladies discussing or doin watever... etc, they suddenly go silent lyke a grave yard, to the point dat i only hear my footsteps in dat scenario.
 The group dat dont get silent, pretend to be calling the heavens wit their fones..

nd when i get past them, they continue wat they were doin b4 i met them

why is dat so?
i'm i an allien, a ghost or somtin else?
Or ar they scared of the unthinkable?

we are probably talkin about u....or some other guy
we are talkin about the latest happenings we had with a guy and dnt want to  be heard
women enjoy the suspense of working up to the bottom line, for the joy is in the telling of the story
women want and need details and if u are walkin past her probably hearin her conversation she will not get it
