Well its a good move but I don't trust nigeria police. They will parade d informant as d real Shekarau instead.

nigeria police pay fayer,after given the information to them wether its useful or not they will detain you,and start asking how u got the infortion and demanding bail fee from your family instead of paying u as they promised

Let them go and give the money to the northern leaders, they will give them the information they need

nigeria police needs some kind of reform, from those comment above you can see that the people whom police were duty bound to protect, no longer have confidence in them.
