Former Nigeria international Austin ‘Jay Jay’ Okocha, has said that coach Stephen Keshi should be blamed for the Super Eagles goalless draw against Iran, in their opening Group F match.
The African champions struggled to break down Carlos Quieroz’s team and were spared the embarrassment of defeat, by a spectacular Vincent Enyeama save.
Okocha blamed the drab display on Keshi’s tactics and the substitutions he made during the game.
“Keshi should be held responsible for the way the team played,” Okocha said. “Before the match he said African teams are tactically not disciplined and he did not bring anything new to the table.
“His changes were poor. He took out Moses and brought in Ameobi. I think that was a wrong change.
“We saw how Osaze came in and showed a lot of creativity. That is the kind of thing we expected. Iran match would have been our strongest point but we missed it.”

Never been been so disappointed. Super Eagle's suck, the worst team of the fifa 2014 tournament so far, coach keshi need to change system very fast or else Eagle's may not go beyond first round.

Kto teshi need to be blame, The approach to the game is not efficient approach. A team that comes to play a defensive pattern need entirely different approach. If we replay d match we can not score at all with that approach. It is a coach responsibility to let the players know what tactics they need to employ.. We need a professional coach in Nigeria.,that have a past record.
