its just so unbelievable that the most actively commented on topics are those based on SEX? is there a problem with it or is the problem with us. Are all sex starved, sex mad, sex addicted, sex motivated or what? Just wondering you know.

Well it's not just Sex. Most young pips don't have anyone to talk to them about Love, sex and feelings. so most of them end up talking about sex when what they may want to talk about is love. They need to learn how to understand and express thier feelings.

The fact is that young people's lives are so highly segxwalized today, the music industry and its accompanying videos, the Internet, all this keeps sex front and center and in the most vulgar of ways.

Again looking as Maslow (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Maslow's_hierarchy_of_needs ) the need for segxwal intimacy is a higher order need than sex. Sex is the lower common denominator.

Just look at it this way. Its like that new fashion that everyone wants to wear..u wanna get a feel of it and experience it as quickly as you can. Although it really isn't..but the media and the public makes it look otherwise. I think at this stage, most aren't really into hearing about abstinence...its more of the teachings of using protection more than anything else...thats my opinion.

@diran1475...There's supposed to be more to it than just the" at-the-moment enjoyment". It's Just that most young kids these days sees it as fun thing and nothing else. Now i've always said that there is nothing wrong with sex before marriage as long as you're in a meaningful, monogamous and serious relationship with someone . If someone feels empty after sex..then most likely it is done out of satisfaction only and not feelings involvement. probably just feeling horny and needs to release the urge. And some do it just to fit in with certain groups cause they see it as the *cool thing to do*..The talk today is mostly about being a virgin or not..and if you are, you're considered a dork..and being that everyone wants to fit in and don't want to be looked as "being uncool"..they're gonna start having sex just to belong. And as i previously said..good sex lessons and talk is what will benefit them..protection is the main thing.

The best, safest and biblically right place for sex is in marriage. That’s due to the level of commitment, understanding, appreciation and sacrifice expected between a couple, other wise you are on your own, its all about you and what you want to get out of the sex like fame, money, skills etc, some even use it to hook other people.

How can you tell if a relationship is meaninfull,monogammous or serious enough for any young person to get into sex before marriage; there are enough playa's out there to fool the pope. Yes protection is right for us to talk about but i believe that getting y-pips balanced psycologically about the truth is what matters most. I can preach protection and you can still end up being a squeezed out orange(if u pardon my language) but if you are together you can end up being a nurtured rose 4 life.
